Well... Seems like a stupid thing to critisize a DJ on, Preach dances around and is feeling his music, as is Armin/Ferry etc.

Its part of their act, and if the music isnt 'as good' as house like most MTL TAs claim then the vibe is certainly better with a huge Trance name like Armin who brings a party, not a 100% perfect tracklist.

You can obviously tell I like Armin, but I admit he isn't a flawless DJ/Producer haha, I mean gimme a break. To some he is cheese, to others he brings a great party, and to others still he brings tears to their eyes.

As Krinker can atest to.

Trance isnt all other genres of electro, trance = 1 style, and a crappy one to add to it :P but doesnt montreal have a pretty impressive minimal techno scene? S.A.T & mutek etc.etc anyways, every time tiesto or armin are in town, mtl gets jacked by TO ppl. I bet tiesto @ circus will ahve less then 1/2 of ppl from mtl :O

I have seen Armin 7 times in the last 2 years in both Canada and The Nederlands and he is amazing.. I have yet to hear a set that I have absolutely hated!

Maybe I have just been lucky enough to hear good sets! But some have been better than others out of the ones I have heard.. best Armin set for me was TO Boat Cruise July 1st last year.. only about 300 ppl on the cruise groovin to Armin

But yeah, Swirl was the only time I've ever seem him, and I think the main reason I didn't like him is because my fave kind of EDM is techno, and he came on directly after 3 hours of the hardest beats EVAR from Chris Liebing. To go from relentless banging techno to 10 minute breakdowns with NO beat in them...I went and sat down I was so disgusted.

Bits and pieces of Swirl are coming back to my memory...I DO remember the transition from OMG FUICKING hard chris liebing to Armin. That was stupidest shit that has ever been pulled by any party organizers in the world. 514 is retarded. Cause it made armins shit look bad... cause he killed the the techno vibe. I blame 514 not armin. Armin is still a god.
