damn. I went to csnation.net and they have a map called de_negociator that can support up to 64 players. How? Isn't the Source engine limit hardcoded for 32?

I've just started played condition zero. Never played CS in my life and always wanted to and now that I have a new real fast computer with a good GC it's good to go for gaming now. ( amd 64 x2 4400+ 6800GT/Ultra 2 gig ram )

Any advice for a newbie ( that doesn't involve playing on a server for now)?
I'm already bored of playing with the bots and I've gone through 4 tours of duty's in 24 hours.

Stupid question .... in missions involving rescueing hostages, a lot of times when all the Terrorists have been killed the mission ends before I can run back to the hostage rescue zone despite the fact the hostages were already following me. This is plain stupid cause there's no more "danger" and I should be able to go back to safety no matter what but no it just ends the mission " CT WINS " . wtf
what to do?

Cs:S is over for me scince I bought Day of Defeat source. It pwns CSs graphically, and I like dod gameplay better. I do still sometimes play cs.

i've now been playing CSS since it was released with HL2 (the day it was released). never played CS before. i sucked when i first got it, horrible records, tons of frustration. but something about 300 dollars when killing someone is just fantastic.
so i kept playing, and now my record is a lot better. to the point where i've been called a hacker 3 or 4 times, even though i've never hacked ever.

It took me a long time to start getting good at CS. I joined just after it went retail (1.0). In fact, I found it very boring as well. But giving it another 5 minutes before i quit, turned into 20, then an hour and so on. I became more accurate, and understood the maps for strategy and tactics. Switching to Source was relatively easy. I've become fanboys for guns, one week I'll only use deagle, others pump, etc. And of course no-scope headshot scout mastery.
If you are somehow stuck at "good", try changing your sensitivity.

1.3 is still the best version made

I find it quite amusing when people on the server start saying I hack. Sometimes you just get in the "rhythm" where you are killing people left and right because you are in the right place at the right time, getting mostly all headshots as well If I ever hacked the game wouldn't be fun to me anymore.
