Yep

138 to 145 for me.

Around 140 for trance, between 140 and 150 for psy. 125 to 135 for house. Anything out of those ranges will probably just bore me to death.

135.755025 = prog house/trance
140.54235 - 145.9875 = trance and other stuff

PVD sets....

around 144BPM. 140 is good too.

if the set's gonna be slow, then 137 is fine

it really depends on the mood.

well i mainly meant 145bpm or above i dont like to much stuff below 140

i dunno, whenever I hear a song thats too fast in BPM it just sounds off. usually the beat sounds awkward and not in sync. take "traffic" for instance. when you can hear the beat alone it sounds so out of place. kind alike its being forced. whereas a good slow, proggy beat has richness and depth to it. imo of course

That's cos the beat is sloppily programmed on the entire track. It sounds like crap no matter what speed it is played at, which makes sense when Tiesto himself admitted that it was just a studio plaything he was fiddling about with that happened to work rather well on the floor.

142 and up for me. None of this "playing trance at house speed to make it sound more sophisticated"-rubbish.
