Hey guys, consider yourself lucky. Over here, we have problems throwing parties for more than 2000 ppl without having the authority on our asses. Our scene is going down the tubes.

Okay, right about now is when I think I should intervene!!! What do you mean that over here our scene is going down the tubes??? You must mean Edmonton alone. I've never been there... but I must say, it sounds like your losing your faith.

I think the scene over here is great! Sure, I would love nothing more than to attend a party with 25,000+, but that's just not going to happen... and I'm kinda glad! I really like these small intimate parties we throw here in Canada. What's our biggest? WEMF - 15,000... if you ask me... GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Hearing that parties like Trance Energy and Innercity still even exist makes me feel that our scene is only getting stronger! It almost gives me this sense of encouragement. I just try to look at things in a positive light...

The more we're supressed, the bigger and stronger we become (not that being supressed is positive).

Well has it actually been accounced that he wont be playing? I mean, all they've said is that the room will be cancelled. Marco V is one of the bigger names on the lineup, I doubt they're just going to go "ah sorry mate, we've taken your room away so you can't play now". They'll probably just move him into a different slot.

Unless they've announced otherwise??

Yup, I did mean Edmonton. The government sets up retarded bylaws that just push the parties back underground where it's more dangerous than ever. And the support is just lacking on lots of parties held here. We got some good talent coming up but most of it is club nights and not parties. I like club nights but nothing beats parties. A big problem we have here is a lack of venues and that really hurts. I wish I could go and party in Vancouver or Toronto or Montreal... but I get to go to UK and Ibiza next summer so it's PARTY TIME THEN!!! Cheers.

no progressive section thats week sauce...this party will blow ..i dont care i dont live in holland so i wouldnt went either way ..but if ID&T think that progressive djs are worth to be canceled and not have a section then that shows how that they dont know shit... most big parties the progressive rooms will be more jumping then even the main stage .... but if there is no progressive djs then there should be some good trance djs from the line up i saw looks like a shitty line up......i wouldnt mind seeing dumonde there not bad but still they should get atleast one great trance headliner, like pvd,tiesto,corsten,armin........ they have johan gielen but i cant stand him i dont like his mixing or his sets....rank1 ehhhh u guys will probably bash me for this but they been suckin heheheand bervoets i heard one of his sets he cant mix worth shit.... the rest arnt all special either ..

The only reason they canceled the the progressive area is that it is the area that has the less to to with the concept! Trance Energy was always a more commercial trance party, this time they also wanted to make it a bit more progressive with a own area but when they have to cancel something then they start with part that not really fits into the concept! And for the progressive fans on the same day is so or so another big rave with much more progressive / techno in the line up in Holland!

And the line up of trance energy is still great! I would say 80% of the people who wanna go there don't go about the progressive area!

Thumbs up

I'm happy cos I get my tickets 3 days ago after a long voyage from east of France to Maastricht...
with a friend, we've searched everywhere we could buy till a man tell you "You can buy tickets at post!"

In addition, I'm not sad Marco V won't be there because I don't like his track and above all his mixes!

Just my opinion!
