Journey fucking rocks. Screeming Guitar riffs over meaty bass guitar is everybit as intoxicating as melodic synths over deep pads, although the sound is very different. Sort of like the difference between caffine and nicotine.

I was thinking of a great, great band that appealed to the masses. Not only the tripped out, hallucinating tie dye fecks. More like... you know the good ol' days, I can bet not one house was without at least one Benny Goodman or Glenn Miller album.
