Thanks for the replys. I am a huge AHP fan, ive yet to be disapointed during one of their shows. The Matt Darey one was the pinnacle of club nights for me. Does anyone know how long Sander will be spinning for? Maybe ill just show up right after hes done and hope whoever else is playing will spin trance instead of house? I am truely not a House music fan. Thanks!

Last I read, Sander started in 96 around the same time Armin finished school (producing as well) both great producers at the time for sure . I don't know what happened to those great armin productions .

If u like trance there will also be Junkie XL and Mark Tabberener along with Christopher Lawrence, if you like progressive, catch Jimmy van M and of course John Digweed who will be playing a 6 hour set. Let all the groupies hang out at the Black Eyed Peas stage! I'll be enjoying John Digweed at midnight and then checking out Lawrence's sick set from 1-4am.

\I dont think anyone is ignoring it, it just is kinda the same typical GIANT village lineup as every year and its is kinda boring. every year they keep adding more and more random rock bands and try to make it more like coachella. digweed has spun here for god knows howmany new years, so thats nothting new, christopher lawrences, same thing and also he just played in l.a. for halloween, and pretty much same story for junkie xl, tabberener etc... but for the big prog heads i guess this is a winning lineup.
we'll be over at spundae, 4 top100 djson one stage?????????

Maybe because it's a meat market for college kids. I remember the bathrooms last year getting ransacked by a bunch of meatheads. People literally pushed over the fence around the porto potti's cuz they were sick of waiting in line. Then people started pissing on the walls. It was cool too, cuz the piss ran right into the walk way where people entered through. So the first thing your get after you pay your 80 bucks is a lovely puddle of piss

Then there was the Kroq stand right in the middle of everything. Blink182 blasted through some blown out speakers! It was awsome.
And let's not forget about the mind bending Laser show, during Oakie's set. It was so awesome you couldn't even see it. Ohh wait.. no it's because all the city lights where on giving you that football/stadium lighting feel on new year's.

Need I mention the $5,$6,$7 waters.

Sorry for being so negative guys, but Giant is just plaing lame. Even if it has all your favorite dj's. The DJ only makes up a % of good time. The rest has to do with what friends your with, what drugs you take, and the envirment that you're in.

Not only does Mark Tabberener NOT play trance....he plays crap! Damn Joey did that really happen last year? I was glued to the speakers for Digweed's set so I dont' remember. That's shitty .

And it's not the "same line up with the Black Eyed Peas", but whatever to each their own .

And I told you guys this fool liked AHP lol.

And Dave, I saw on a flyer at Avalon for NYE that Sander K is only playing till 5am.

If Sander was playing till 10am I would go to Avalon after Giant. But I don't feel like spending the extra money (and it would be A LOT) to maybe see Sander.

His attempts at making a good prog house tune are yuck aswell.

Well being from Tampa, we don't exactly get Digweed and Lawrence on the same night every year so I'll deal with the piss and $7 waters and still have a bad ass time seeing my favorite Dj. Have fun where ever u guys end up and let me know how it was! Peace.

O yeah, I think your boy has got me confused with someone cuz I never once mentioned anything about AHP except for talking shit about the crowd at Avalon. I'll be with my fellow college kids at Giant.
