LoL yea my school too. There were fights, it was like the whole latinos against the argies. Food Fights, and such. The rest of the kids in the school were WTF as of what was going on. Never seen the school in so much chaos like that.

On another note, Watch out for the USA. The americans may not like Football, but the US team is pretty strong, it can surprise! As for Brazil.. they lost the touch they had before. After the 1994 World Cup with Italy and Brazil in the final ( Will never forget that game one of the best Ive ever watched ).. Brazil has lost the touch, and they got too many world cups to go root for them.. and I mean it in a nice way hehe. And yeah Ive got Brazilian family so no I dont got anything against them. Just feel like seen a different team in the finals with a good game. ( Like the surprising shock of France in 98 )

American Football is my favorite sport by far, but if I had to pick 2nd, it would be soccer no doubt...and I only got into it a year ago when I lived in the islands and met some soccer freaks out there.

The truth of the matter is...soccer in America has been intentionally promoted as a womens sport. I dunno when they decided they would market the sport that way, but seriously, look at almost any and all soccer commercials, endorsements, and media, its all geared towards women. It's a damn shame too, because I'm sure we could produce some top notch talent from USA if it were more mainstream...

yea, mexico and portugal are both evenly matched. it would be a good game to watch. but mexicans, on the tele, and playing with them, they play rough

So I placed the order for 2 tickets for the Match:
HOLLAND vs ARGENTINA.

Got a confirmation e-mail and now I have to wait until February:

The allocation of tickets will take place after the end of the third sales phase from January 2006 onwards. If the number of applications exceeds the number of tickets available for your chosen category at a specific match, allocation will be made randomly (via a draw)

I hope they draw me!!!

no it isn't
and I'm going by train together with one of my best friends, there is a direct train to Frankfurt from Arnhem and the price for a return ticket is around 60 USD.
It's 1 1/2 hrs by train.

yeah those trains kick ass. i've taken em from dodrecht to koeln and shit like that. frankfurt to paris. rome to wuppertal. wuppertal to berlin. trains are the ONLY way to go.

if and when i find out for sure if i'll be in germany next summer, i'll try and pick up some tickets for a game or two. i wanna see a germany game but i doubt i'll get tickets, so i'll probably settle for a usa game. those wont be sold out.

Yes the trains kick ass, I agree.

Good luck finding tickets.
If you didn't have the link to the FIFA WC site for the tickets,
here it is:

http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/tickets/index.html

btw: if Germany wins Group A and Holland wins Group C and they both win the 2nd round, than in the 1/8 finals Germany will play against Holland

HUP HOLLAND!!!

i still cant get over that last minute goal you guys scored in our group match last euro2004.

but i always root for holland cuz i like you guys. you guys just hate us.

last world cup in 02, i was in dodrecht with a friend watching the final against brazil. him and his whole family was rooting for brazil. then after the game i got on a train and went to amsterdam to meet up with some friends who would be there 3 days later. i got there and sooooooo many people where running through the streets with brazil flags cheering. i got so pissed i almost left and went back to germany. luckily i stayed and smoked my ass off for a week.

germany vs holland is always a good match. lets hope we see it

hehehe yes I remember that last minute last year.
I was there in Portugal, watching on 2 big screens: 1 they broadcasted Germany and on the other Holland, but everybody was watching Germany hehehehe

I don't hate Germans, I had and have a lot of German friends and my parents have them too.
But yes when Germany has to play against Brazil for instance, than we are for Brazil (and since my fiance likes soccer and she's Brasilian, I love Brazil more and more hehe)

We will see yes.
Hopefully Germany vs Holland will be the final
WOW!!!!!

if so: than after 32 years they play again in the final of a WC.
1974 we lost 2-1 of Germany.
