My first experience mixing was on tapes with my walkman. I use to adjust the throttle to slow/speed up the cassette. The beatmatching was horrible, but it was a good lesson. My dad has turntables from his old days, but he keeps it locked in a treasure chest along with his other gear. One day I'll be on your level vinyl-wise....in the meantime I use mp3's so keep an eye out...the stevieboy mix is coming soon to a headphone near you.

You know what, when I talked to him about electro, I mentioned Gerald Donald, and you know what he said to me. He said something along the lines of asking me if thats real electro like kraftwerk, or some sort of nu skool breakbeat stuff.

But its cool, because he knows more about electro than I do now, but thats totally only because I'm not into electro anymore.

Thats about the only thing I've got on him though... he is pretty rock solid.

Nope, im saying hat when you spend your money on a vinyl, and you get your 2 or 3 tracks on it, and it becomes a material part of your collection it means more.. at least to me.

Im very attached to my vinyls.

Its like buying a legit cd, you get your cover booklet, the album art, etc..
