Pele is still the best ever btw

Ronaldinho is on pace to be among the greats, he needs to be the main star in this world cup though.

Isn't Robinho supposed to be the Next Pele? How does Robinho compare to Ronaldinho? I haven't really followed either career.

Rooney is good but he has not done that much in the league just only stellar in the Euro...if were gonna go on league preformances than we can name tons of players that are good like Ronaldinho

he netted a beauty brace yesterday, albeit against Wigan, and missed a sitter that I could have scored 100/100 times, but he's still amazing. He's only going to get better. Let's have this discussion when he's 30.

Robinho is still struggling to adapt to the spanish league while ronaldinho arguably the best player in the world right now ... and theres no such thing as the next pele ..each player is his own individual and robinho just has the potential to be a fantastic player ...

I still dont think Barca will win it

Yes. The players is much more agressive these days than they were back in the days. Do you someone wait for his opponent to make a move besides looking at slow defenders getting fucked up by fast attackers, no you don't.

Players isn't awaiting someone to make a move these days compared with football back in the 60's or 70's..

I don't mean breaking legs with agressive football, and the refs still suck, but they're alot better than back in the days. Just take Iran as a comparement, when they played their very first World Cup they got fucked up by every team just because they had alot of red cards, the refs in Asia wasn't good enough and the it was a huge difference between them and the rest in Europe..

nobody will come to Everton until they start running it like a real business instead of a corner shop. No money = shite

find me footage of maradona or pele doing things with a ball that ronaldinho can do

Posted by noikeee on Dec-17-2005 13:23:

Just because he does elasticos and whatever fancy tricks doesn't mean he's the best player all-time. When he wins a world cup by himself like Pel or Maradona i'll rate him on the same level.

Agreed if u look at all the legends they each have different characteristics that set them apart.....for one Pele scored sumfing like 1000 goals in 1200 games for Santos

Seriously is this whole thread an early April fool joke or something?

Ronny is a godlike player, perhaps the most skillful I've seen so far (in my lifetime), but he scores an average of maybe 10 goals per year or something doesn't he?

I know thats a fair return for a midfielder, and I know he creates at least that many per season, but its hardly "OMFTIJ" is it?

He's 25 and still has plenty of time to win European cups etc, but I think its disrespectful and foolish to be saying "he's the best player ever" right now.

I know the game's changed so much etc, but honestly would you 6 people who have voted yes on this topic, take him right now over Pele/Diego at their peak?
