its had some good reviews but i just cant get into the idea of it being a good movie. I never watched the original but to me its like i dont care if the film in general is done well at the end of the day it's about a fucking ape that falls in love with a woman.

Now thats just stupid by any stretch of the imagination

Posted by Lepanto on Dec-17-2005 01:10:

It's not really that he's in "love" with the woman lol. it's the story the visuals the cinematography etc. it's a beautiful movie. off to see it stoned

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Dec-17-2005 01:11:

uh, people aren't storming the theater because an ape falls in love with the woman. they are storming to watch them have sex

Word goes that the Kong-man will be a guest monday evening in the David Letterman Show!

heh maybe so but it still just the whole idea of the film just seems a little ridiculous to me.

But i will pass full judgement untill i have seen it myself and i may well be totally wrong, we shall see.

So, today with no official work on on-call duties, i went to go watch King Kong. I liked it. Lots of emotional scenes,

hmmm no offence but are you female or gay?

I'm not big on emotioal films

Sure, he might be rich, and his balls might be the size of two small African Elephants, and he might be married to two large Asian Elephants, but let me tell you something about King Kong. I have a bigger dong than King Kong. Let me tell you. The reason he's so angry is because everyone keeps pointing and laughing, making a monkey out of him. He'd wear pants if he could, but he's simply one gigantic ape. Until you look slightly less up. King Kong ain't got nothin' on me. There's plenty wrong with old King Kong.

I just saw it. Monsterously Brilliant epic. Definitely see this at the cimema!! It is a freaken massive rollercaoster movie. So much to take in.

Bit sad at the end.

No other director today can even come close to making a movie like this. It is refreshing to watch. Heaps of scenes are totally jaw dropping. I actually even enjoyed the start Manhattan drama. You know that when they finally reach skull Island it will be non-stop action. It's a freaken masterpiece.

omg El Salvador is in Central America, right next to Honduras and Guatemala, it isnt even that far from the U.S. Regarding El Salvador being located on L.A., well if you meant it as a joke, sure there are like 1 million Salvadorans who work there and send money back to their homecountry. However, if you really thought it was a country.......do you know what a map is ?

c'mon, settle down guys. the only reason i created this thread was to promote international unity and how we humans must work as one to see another day.

this looks like an intresting movie

Posted by Xone62 on Dec-17-2005 07:31:

the movie wasn't that good. the damn ape and the bitch fell in love. how emotional can that be? and jack black sucks. the only part worth watching was the dinosaurs part.

Posted by placebo on Dec-17-2005 08:05:

i didnt care for it much

fell asleep during the last hour

Posted by idoru on Dec-17-2005 08:12:

I really, really liked the movie. I went into it with mixed feelings, and a large part of me thought that it was just going to totally bomb. Not the case, in my opinion.

The first hour was slower, but it worked because you sort of got a feel for who the characters were, etc. The whole part on the island was incredible. The tribe creeped me out at first, but what really kicked ass was the scene with all of the bugs and spider-like things. Creeped the shit out of me.

There were some parts during the city scenes that were meh, but I'll admit that I liked the sappier portions towards the end.

Good flick.
