Betis won 2-0 over AZ , and has a foot in next round (like Sevilla).

Posted by zoric on Feb-16-2006 13:07:

Yep. Got a friend who loves Betis, he was pretty happy earlier today..

Good win for Middlesbrough last night 2-1 away at Stutgart.

I just noticed that Hertha Berlin lost to Rapid Bucharest at home. Poor.

They are 10 games without a win now (UEFA Cup / German Bundesliga) and lost @ home to Schalke 04 this weekend.

They really struggle at the moment and have huge internal problems.

I hope my homies Hamburger SV will do better in the re-match against Thun. Normally they are much better than Thun and should make 2 goals...

Yep. I really want them to go through because I like Hamburg. They've got a lot of potential to do something in Europe, In the UEFA Cup this year and I think they will do something good.

We need van der Vaart to be back. We allready lost 2 league games this year against poor opponents (only lost 1 in first half of the season).

And with Ailton being out for months it doesn't make it better

Although Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 get stronger and stronger each week and the qualification for the Champions League is in huge danger.

That's the problem with the "little smaller teams", they haven't got the same back up as bigger teams. Yes, it sucks. Hope you get better

Hope we win the national championship in the next 5 years. The last time was 1983 and it's soooooo long ago

And I'm glad if we play more constantly, it always went up and down the last years.

I hope the same, Bayern Mnchen is pretty strong and has taken a bigger lead just like Juventus has in the Serie A.

But you're in the lead with 2-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt at Waldstadion. I'm planning to go and watch Hamburg or Eintracht in the future, maybe in April if I've got time over..

Yeah or Chelsea in England and Lyon in France.

I hope this won't be the status quo in all leagues for the next years.

I'm watching the game right now and Hamburg plays pretty good but it's still 30 minutes so I hope Hamburg can stay at that level.

I hope they can make the finishing 30 minutes so we can be satisfied with a Hamburg win.

Ofcourse. I'm planning to come to either Frankfurt or Hamburg and watch a match with one of the teams live at the stadium. It all looks like it's going to be a Frankfurt match though..

Sevilla and Betis, next round. Poor Espanyol...

Posted by zoric on Feb-24-2006 11:44:

Espanyol lost 0-3 at home against Schalke, Never thought that would happen.

Schalke is a damn good team. Their roster is amazion, they just had some internal trouble the last months.

Recently they won 7-4 in the Bundesliga

And YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH Hamburger SV defeated Thun 2-0 and will now meet up with Bukarest. We should win this one and advance to the quarter finals

Beware of Hamburg!!!!

Yep. I know that Schalke is a god damn good team, and yes, I saw that match

I like following Krstajic, he's my man

Hamburger SV won their game @ Bayern Munich today 2-1 . It was the first loss for Munich in their new arena and their first loss in 19 home games.

Also it was the first win of Hamburg in Munich for 25 years

Posted by K.I.K.E. on Mar-15-2006 22:08:

Roma and Hamburg, out.

Sevilla advances: they're very strong at home. We'll see Betis tomorrow.

Posted by Yohan on Mar-15-2006 22:54:

Boro - Roma game was actually pretty entertaining.

If Boro plays like this again, they will surely lose.

Posted by Rockabye on Mar-16-2006 13:56:

Hamburg is out but won the game 3-1 @ home.

It was one of the best games Hamburg played in a while. I had a lot of fun watching the game live @ aol arena

Worst uefa cup ever....

Posted by Yohan on Mar-17-2006 16:55:

At this stage, favourite has to be Schalke, then Sevilla then Boro...

Lots of upsets so far.

Posted by noikeee on Mar-17-2006 18:35:

eastern europe ftw

Posted by zoric on Mar-18-2006 18:18:

I'm glad that alot of unexpected teams made it through. Teams like Zenit, Steaua Bucarest, Levski Sofia, and Rapid Bucarest wasn't even expected to go this long.

I'm glad with the outcome, that alot of Eastern teams from Europe finally has made it through this far.

I'm supporting the Eastern European teams first, because they're underdogs and I'm glad they made it through this far, and then Schalke because of Krstajic
