You're kidding right? I feel I should send Cass & Slide the bill for the electricity I wasted powering my radio during their EM. Mr Holden should give us a treat though

no i aint kidding man cass&slide made a sick ass brEakz set which was just the half of the set, 70mins and the next was deep/progressive house and so wat if they put those old tunez, like dissing Barbie Girl and the other 1's? seriously u dont like breakz then dont bother talking mate

Posted by Tranex02 on Jan-11-2002 20:47:

I'm looking forward to his set

Can anyone recommend some good wicked tunes by Holden?
I only know one great tune.

I know what the set was, I listened to it And as for Barbie Girl I'm not really into "statements". Music should be about tunes you like, not lame attempts at making people sit down and think.

Anyway James Holden should do the trick

My eyes popped out when i saw the line ups...James Holden !!! This guy is simply brilliant...i have yet to hear one of his songs or remixes that are not stunning. I hear that he is a very eclectic DJ and spins everything from progressive to breaks and even ambient so this e-mix is going to be very special. One thing is for sure though, holden is going to play a magical set !!!

Thumbs up U got the gear ??? Sortid !

I know james personally and hes a wierd person , as you can see !

I hope i'll be able to tune in, or at least get a copy at a later date.

I've never really been a fan of his but after listening to a lil of his new album and all you hyping him up, ill have to give it a listen.

Found it in the record shop in town in the quid section (well 99p section ) saw it was Holden so I bought it, it's ok but I prefer his recent stuff.

The James Holden remix of Accadia - Into the Dawn is my favourite track of the year. I can't wait to hear this, I hope someone records and ul's it to the net somewhere.

I've never really listened to the dude much before, but that 'Horizon' on GC global sound system is absolutely breathtaking, is that typical of his style?

Er u didn't. It's now Sunday, 01:58am. 2 mins to go. You missed it. For future reference (coz we go through this every EM) when the big hand and the little hand are both pointing at 12, the day changes.

OMFG.

Sorry - I didn't mean to sound stupid, but I was.

Hehe I always end up doing that. You just think "Sunday" and then Sunday evening comes and you're like "hold on a sec....shit". Anyway still 20 mins to go, but he's pulled of an amazing set. Only bad point in my book was a bit of dodgy mixing at around 45 mins and following that that didn't really fit the mood too well. Other than that it's been one of the best EM's I've heard recently. It's been recorded anyway so be sure to download it when it pops up.

Holden pulled off an amazeing EM last night, Great choice of tracks and the mixing was flawless for the majority of the set.
As Spad said, around the 45 minute mark, he sort of went off on a tangent but 15 minutes later he was back on course.
Well worth staying up to 4am GMT to listen to one of the best EM's in the last 6 months.
