Ok, so here is my dilema, I have:

1. hosting space
2. Essential Mix collection 1993-2003 (minus 4 or so)
3. Digweed Kiss100 collection 2000-2005 (minus 10 or so)
4. 200+ other live sets.

I have not had time to listen to nearly enough of them. What I can do for you is, if somebody wants to request a set or two, I will gladly post it, and host it.

Anyway we can work them into the system?

whats the problem though?

each week 1 person has to recommend and post up only 2 sets.

as for hosting: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Well, take the number of members and that's how often you would have to post (in weeks). I'm assuming we'll have 15-20 members. So you would only have to pick a couple sets, listen to then, review them, and post links 3-4 times per year, at most, unless guidelines get reworked. Even then, it wouldn't call for much on your part, but some of those Kiss100 sets are probably on fire.

If you're up for donating your web space, that's cool, but I would plan on 75-100 100MB DLs per week (count lurkers).

ok, so then, no problem.

I'm in
(I can also host)

Posted by Ub3rBreaker on Dec-21-2005 08:16:

maybe we could toss a bit of variety in it?

A good techno/DnB/Breaks/Ambient/Psy/Prog/etc set once in a while would be cool... anything but trance, ppl already have enough trance in their pants around here

I dont have that many housesets but this one brings back the memories from 86-96

So I thought I would share it now.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

My review - such a nice mix of classics that any true househead should have this mix.

Have fun recognizing these tracks that take you back!

an interesting fact from this mix.......

Sun Rising by The Beloved - that vocal sample in it (has been used a few times over the last 15 years in various EDM tracks) of O Euchari in Leta Vita - a song written by Hildegard von Bingen (September 16 1098 - September 17, 1179)

Hildegarde Von Bingen was a preacher at a time when canon law forbade women to preach, a named composer when most music was anonymous, a visionary, a theologian, a writer, an artist, a hagiographer, a prolific letter-writer and an early scientist, botanist, herbalist, physician and healer - she even invented her own coded language.
Hildegarde experienced visions from her early childhood; she could see things that were invisible to those around her, foretold the future and her vision was filled with a strange luminosity which she later came to call 'the reflection of the Living Light'.
Hildegarde was a forthright woman who was not going to allow the church to place women in a subservient place to men; nor was she going to concede, as many leading thinkers and theologians of her age taught, that woman was evil, seductress, and not created in the image and likeness of God.
Hildegarde was one of the first saints for which the canonization process was officially applied, but the process took so long that all four attempts at canonization (the last was in 1244, under Pope Innocent IV) were not completed, and remained at her beatification.

reminds me of a numerology assignment I submitted for a Religion class back in the day to prove some DIVINE magic for her existance and the reason why she is still recognized.

interesting fact Birthdate - 09/16/1098 = 0+9+1+6+1+0+9+8 = 34 3+4=7
Deathdate - 09/17/1179 = 0+9+1+7+1+1+7+9 = 35 3+5=8
DeathAge - 81 = 8+1 = 9 =9

set of 3 in order (7,8,9) Birth 7 + Death 8 + DeathAge 9 = 24 2+4=6

6 divided by 2 (man/woman) = 3

Name - Hildegarde Von Bingen = 102 =1+0+2 = 3
Total works of Song/Praise = 57 5+7=12 =1+2 = 3

Wrote Songs of the Divine of the Holy Trinity 3.........

3 being MY FAVOURITE NUMBER and to boot it is the 3 song in the mix!!!! Coincidence - I think not LOL!!!

3 is teh magic number - YES IT IS!

Woot!

Remember, if you're in, it's because you have some worthy house sets to share and review.

We're getting up to the level where you're only going to have to post a couple sets twice each year, so getting a hold of two hot sets that haven't been posted shouldn't be too tough.

Also, no torrent files, as I can't DL them through the T1 at my loft complex :/

yea, and if you can't get a hold of any recent ones then there's always a classic house set that could be recommended.
