DjAviander: thank you, and you can check your PMs for the full version

wizniz: very nice to hear that the song gave you shivers, haha. And yeah, DCFC and postal service are both excellent candidates for trance bootlegs.

SteelWolf: you got it!

I didnt know who was DCFC but i knew i heard the vocals from some where. Some of my friends play the Original track lot.

I like what you have done here. ::thumbs up::

My only complains is the begining.

Everythings cool after the the 27 second mark.Im sure some of my friends would enjoy this.

gracias!

yes, the intro is a bit lacking, but I was in a rush to get to the good stuff (the later stages of the track) so didn't vest much time in the intro.

Thank you! The build up might be a bit too long, you're right, but once you put the track in a set mix, half of it disappears when transitioning from the previous track -- so no biggie.

Great job! I;m not that big of a Death Cab fan but I'm now a big fan of Death Cab electronic remixes

keep up the good work.

Great work!
It's often I wonder how radiotracks would sound in a trance remix. I'm glad you made this, it's very good, and Death Cab is a very good choise.
Keep it up!

nice track. Btw, I still have "f&f" in my choice picks folder. Keep up the good work.

hi

love this remix, great balance and atmosphere. i like deathcab melodies so do i love your additions. Great vibe and feel, as well as work on the vocals...

Posted by StanVoid on Jan-18-2006 02:12:

Thanks for the responses so far, guys!

Nou: Yeah the lyrics do get drowned out at some points, but when I tried to bring them out more, it also brought out other elements of the original track (like percussions, the guitar, etc) which I did not want interfering with my own sound too much. It's all a balance I guess

Elujin: Glad you like the remix!

Spectra: Yup, DCFC just has that sound begging for a trance do-over

christofa: Ah, good old f&f

iloop: Thank you!

Who else has comments, hehe!

Stan.

Second review/comment that I should have mentioned first time around, but I'm dissapointed that those lush plucky chords that come in at 2:22 arn't used ever again. I even think that this synth would sound better then the synths used in the breakdown and beyond. Oh well, still a cool track

Posted by Rinster on Jan-18-2006 08:43:

good job on the track, i disliked the intro abit but thats just me.
gonna add it to my cd collection

Posted by StanVoid on Jan-18-2006 21:17:

Rob: The synths that you're talking about are actually all throughout the rest of the song. You just have to listen real carefully, because that melody blends in with the main hook ... pretty sneaky

bidor: The intro seems to be the most disliked part, yes Otherwise, hope you bang the tune out on your cd every day!

More comments, please =)

as a huge death cab fan myself, i was excited to see this, and man what a swell job. when the chorus kicks in late it just crushes. one reason i like death cab is their song structures are usually pretty unique, and i like that you kept that idea. excellent work. definately on my playlist!

Posted by StanVoid on Jan-20-2006 22:18:

Gabe de Wielen: thanks man, and check your PM's

Spearfish: Thank you! It's always nice to hear feedback on this track from big fans of Death Cab themselves.

Anyone else?

Stan.
