Special K: Like I said, I'm not going to continue this argument because it's pointless. If you're too blind or to stupid to see that Guvernment Saturdays are a magnet for people who want to do drugs, then that's your problem. It has nothing to do with the fact that there are more people at Guvernment, it has everything to do with the fact that most people go to the Guvernment with the intention of getting high.
I'm sure it makes you feel better about yourself to say that you're 10x smarter than me. It's pretty obvious to me from reading your posts that you're not very smart at all, nobody with any real intelligence would have your type of mentality. Seriously though, are you 15 years old? If not, then I feel sorry for you, you have a lot to learn and a long way to go.
Anyways, good luck in life buddy, I think you're going to need it.
Boys boys...Just agree to disagree.
All you're doing is just calling each other names...it really doesn't answer our initial problem of proving that System patrons are more intelligent that Guv patrons.
I want to know how one can come to this conclusion. Do you go around quizzing people about electronic music or something?? Tech1200s, if you make a bold statement like that, you have to be able to back it up - that's all Karlos is trying to say. System is a way smaller crowd so you'll never run into as many of those people than at Guv...just because someone knows the name of the DJ printed on the flyer doesn't make them knowledgable - get real.

Our man, Ferry
Ferry Corsten: This I have to see. Never heard him live before. His music's great, despite a few No-show's for some T.O. Gig's. In so far as Guv' is concerned, the sound system and light shows are unparalleled. The venue itself is fantastic, and they certainly seem to be reprazentin' with the DJ line-up's for the next three to four weeks. Personally, I prefer the System crowd. I have noticed the cracked out partier's at Guv, but that doesn't bother me so much as "attitude" per se. The latter is intolerable. Why take yourself so seriously? Life's too short for that shit.
thank you thank you thank you...
i've been dyin here without trance..................................................
Yes.. I will DEFINATELY be there... I missed him last time...
Anyhow, regarding Tech1200 & Special K's arguments:

(Insert captions as needed).
I hate it how people are always putting down awesome clubs or djs for stupid reasons. Personally I really like the Guv. crowd, they are really friendly, energetic, and know how to party. So what if they engage in the use of "illicit" substances. Who are we to judge others based on such trivial categories. Sure, I don't exactly agree with people being fucked out of their minds evertime I see them in a club, but moderate substance use of others should be non of our concern. Moreover, we should not base judgment and place negative labels on those who indulge in such activities. After all it, most of our opinions about others and what they do is largly dependent on society and its powerful molding properties. We don't realize how much of ourselves and our belives are shaped by these sailent forces. I never hear of anybody complaing after they come back from a pub/bar of how many people there were high on ethanol. Let's drop the ignorance and enjoy the core that unites us. Let's love the music and I'll see you guys at Corsten.
My 2 cents!

I feel that already.....
Yeah, I am so exited about it, man, Ferry will rock again, and Guv is the perfect place for Ferry to spin. It became even better after the New Year's. Guys modified the lazer again, it bacame much brighter, the sound bacame more like clear, not too noisy..........I wish we could make a full video of that party..!
See ya all there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't been to Guvernment in a while but I heard they were going to close it down for renovations for a couple of weeks in early 2002.
Does anyone know if the renovations are scheduled for after or before February 2?
Well, whenever the renovations are scheduled for, it is gonna be open on Feb. 2nd, and I know I will be there, having a blast, yet again...

I missed out on Corsten last time when he came and there is no aboslutely no way that I'll be missing him twice!
Can't wait, I'm sure it'll be an amazing nite!
We should meet
We should meet up again...
Anyone got an idea where? Somewhere in the place perhaps?
I'm going with my friend that I went to State01 with; she's pumped about this too!
.....
Renovations are gonna start at around mid Feb.
Can't wait to see TranceXtasy, Arctic Boy, where are you Kytracid?, Bliss'n'Trance, Cloud9???
SoOo excited abt Ornadel and Ferry.
Gonna be awesome parties.
Guv really has improved a lot in the past couple of months. And they are spending a million more bucks on it this feb/march!!
But most of it is gonna go to building a new "Buddha" room. Still I guess when the main room opens again, it should be even better(can't even picture that as yet)
For meet-up I usually suggest the Acid Lounge, but I guess thats small and at times gets very crowded. Plus its pretty dark. This time we should meet up right in the centre!!
Around the centre podium. Lots of TA's smack in the middle.....let's show them how to PAAR - TAAAYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!
time should be around 1:30 - 2:00 a.m
what do you guys think??

Yeah, after reading everyone's posts, it looks like I'm in for quite the experience. I can't wait. I hope to meet lots of TA's too!!!
