Darn... I was hoping I learned something new.
piece by piece
i release
once was mine
now undone
turned blue like New
Orleans
and went down like
a southern sun
i still feel you
beneath my skin
im tempted
to throw my senses in
'cos its easier to drown
then to find somewhere i feel sincerity
then the truth comes back around
piece by piece
i release
once was mine
now undone
turned blue like new
orleans
and went down like
a southern sun
i still feel you
beneath my skin
im tempted
to throw my senses in
'cos its easier to drown
then to find somewhere i feel sincerity
then the truth comes back around
in the end your not for me
not for me
you last like a song
i'm deflated
i am pieces on the wind
unrelated
i still feel you
beneath my skin
i am tempted
to throw my senses in
'cos its easier to drown
then to find somewhere i feel sincerity
then the truth comes back around
in the end your not for me
'cos its easier to drowned
in the end your not for me
not for me
Southern Sun thread
After listening to this song so many times carefully to the lyrics, i reall think this fits best and sounds most correct..
hehe now we've come to the part i wanted to avoid.. where people are trying to find out what she sings just by listening, and i can tell you.. everyone has their own opinions on what is the "orginial" lyrics...
the part where she sings "turn blue, ligh blue, like new orleans" there is something not right there either.. since she has a T in the end.. well i'll try getting some ripps and i'll post them so that ppl can listen to the lyrics
#EDIT#
here are two samples, the first is a cut from the "blue" thingie.. and the second from the chorus.
cut 1
cut 2

it could be the rip too. high frequencies causing the t sound.
exactly, what is it then? i can assure you that it's not due to the rip since it's in all versions with these lyrics. but i can't find any word in the english language that sounds like this
I don't think it's due to the rip either.......
