production is very good as always.
hats and clap are nice and crisp. the static blue fx in the break rock again.

i like it untill the pluck comes in in the break. its unoriginal and asot-style-boring to my ears, but then again i never liked these kind of sounds/tracks so its not your fault :P .

tres bien monsieur bleu, very very good song. Amazingly clear production and the vibe is classic. I love the crunchy fx you got going, and the melody is quite nice too. Excellent and inspiring work!

i'm feeling this a lot. liking the breakdown especially. last note of the lead melody sounds a bit off to me. would be nice to hear the bassline beefed up a little bit as well. ditto for the percussion.

pretty solid track overall, how generous of you to share

Hey man this is very solid work. Really crisp sounding tune.. very asotish as others have previously mentioned.

nice job

thanks for all the replies

i agree melody is maybe not the best i made

Posted by Stino on Jan-04-2006 20:56:

listening through technics headphones and it hurts my ears, your high/mid freqs are pushed really really harsh, especially that arp, is pushing everything away. Sounds are very un original, drive is good, but eq is not.

Intro is quite boring.

Break is really nice, but that arp isnt really fitting.

nah sorry, i have heard way better stuff from you.

Posted by staticblue on Jan-04-2006 20:58:

no worries stino, sorry bout that

Posted by Takkra on Jan-04-2006 21:01:

I like it, and I dont know why you call it generic.. well maybe because you can also fit in w/ all those producers on trance cd's
like it track, sounds very clear to me! I do like that little arp !

Posted by TOR on Jan-05-2006 18:37:

i'm detecting quite a bit of high frequencies too

otherwise, this is a very good track. it's not very memorable, but i like the detail that went into the production.

thanks for the feedback !

great track dude

Your elements come in rather suddenly in the intro, but not in a bad way. I like the way it builds, the bassline fits well; the arp is too digital though for too long, perhaps filtering might make it a bit cooler.

The kick isn't bad, but seems a little processed. Maybe a different, milder, smoother but still powerful sine-y kick would be awesome to complete the rest of this track's style and mood.

2:45, good snare roll, yummy pads. More stereo is needed!! hehe

3:11, lovely synth; much prefer this sound to the cold digital sound of the previous arp, though the arp notes were good.

3:43 break is coming along nicely, good build so far. The pad is de-emphasized heavily, though, which works okay however.

4:40 another lovely synth; it adds excellent ambiance and really glues the track together and makes it smooth as can be. Nice filtering through to 5:29.

Sudden transition to the outro, but i like it. The track knows its strengths, and knows when to stop, having gotten across a solid performance.

Good outro. I like the track.

Cheers, thanks for sharing.

thanks for the detailed feedback !

yey 320k

I like that kick and the rythms in the intro. arp is wicked- really like that- matches well with the pads that rock. Yea the tracks got a popy chillout flow which i really dig. mixable intro outrro is a bonus. I think you did a great job on this track, thanks for sharing with all, i will support this

Thumbs up

I agree with the high frequencies issue. But, apart from that, this a really great track. I enjoyed it very much, thanks for sharing!

thanks to all of you

Nice track, abit too cheesy and dreamy for my taste even tho i've made and released tracks that are quite cheesy. The melody is very avrage and was the main disappointment. Production wise it's quality for being TA, but overall a normal trancer. Put some extra work into the melody and you'll have something that stands out. Some nice FX work during those dead minutes wouldn't hurt either.

cheers
Alex

I can't say better

Back in 2002, it could have been signed by A&B. Listen to Rusch & Murray - Epic (A&B Remix) and you'll see what I mean.

I think you could boost the low end a bit. You've got a lot of mid here. Not enough to get muddy, but enough that the kick seems a tad weaker than it could be.

The biggest problem that I have with this track is that it is structured and orchestrated like an ASOT track. The melody is wonderful, and it's very beautiful, but at some points I actually wondered if I had heard this track somewhere before.
