It's a bit scary that Creative's going this far in trying to attract more people like us to get their product. In all honesty, I purchased their product months ago because I know they're good, not because some DJ has their name on it *especially Tiesto* (sorry don't mean to be a prick to those who do like his music; my personal opinion is that he's now the feared case where a DJ for a genre has gone too mainstream for their and the genre's own good. Look at Darude: he's DJing it up like mad at small/medium clubs and keeps it simple and his music hasn't suffered. Yes, he hasn't produced much lately in terms of releases but heck if it means he takes more time and less arrogance in producing stuff then so be it)

Originally posted by pvdclubber well if you check the web, then you will find that the ipod shuffle has some of the best audio characteristics available in a portable mp3-player. plus pvd didn't print his name on the ipod, so he didn't sell out like tiesto, his logo is printed on a skin that can be purchased separately for little money. by the way i've got the Sony_NW_E_407 which i am very happy with, what's your superb player then?
If one day, people hate me as much as they do Tiesto, then Ill know I made it

lol, Just cause he has more money doesnt mean hes gonna stop trying with his producing or DJ sets, its his bred and butter.
People Idolize Sammy and scooter and whoever the fuck else , Britney Spears is cosidered a singer, 50 is a rapper...
Tiesto did nothing but capitalize on his success, you dont see him remixing shit mainstream artists like many others do, he still does what he did 6 years ago, except with more merchandise now
Some of you have a hardon for him because he was # 1 for so long, even now that PvD is # 1 Tiesto will still take more heat becuase hes way bigger then PvD will ever be
Get over it people

Originally posted by sshyperion what do you mean by trainwreck? I had an issue a while back where if i tried to switch tracks the player would shut off. I just did a firmware upgrade and that fixed the problem immediately

Originally posted by pvdclubber i think he was referring to the fact that tiesto keeps trainwrecking in his sets, hence the player should trainwreck

lol thanks for the clarification
tiesto the fragrance would smell like vick's and old spice and sweat, that nasty smell that festers in a club that is way overcrowded.
I have an older 128 MB creative player. It holds about as much music as a cd but in mp3 format. I don't have any complaints about it, I don't need a player with a color screen or programs that organize my collection for me and I'm a broke ass college student who can't afford high end stuff anyway. I listen to it while I'm walking between classes, it holds enough music to keep me entertained for a day then I can go home and switch it out for different stuff sitting on the computer.
Having said that I don't know anybody that would see the tiesto logo as added value and buy this thing, I have a hard time figuring out who would want this besides mp3 collectors who are tiesto fans, and there aren't many of those left anymore, at least in the sections of the internet that I visit I rarely meet them anymore.
If I had the money I would get the neuros 2, it isn't out yet but it looks like a video ipod equivalent except more open to user tinkering and stuff. I collect alot of ameteur music these days and so much of it comes in ogg vorb that I would really like a player that can work with oggs and is not fettered with DRM.
