Although I like Aftermath, Halcyon and Adrenaline, my vote is for

Castamara

Posted by cyberia on Jan-17-2006 16:21:

voted adrenaline

Posted by alpha84 on Jan-18-2006 06:46:

tough call but Adrenaline got my vote

Posted by spc on Jan-18-2006 06:50:

aftermath.. ez!

if love theme dusk was in group B i would have voted on that for sure..

and wtf swing 2 harmony is in the lead? that song is dogshit, along with the vocals

I can't believe some of these tracks are competing against each other. I don't get it. the top 4 here should make it to the final four altogether.

Posted by queen_vee on Jan-19-2006 04:56:

Love Theme Dusk should win for gorgeousness!

Aftermath should win for driving hard prog that traps you on the dancefloor for no apparent reason!

I went for Love Theme Dusk cos it's an understated masterpiece, the simplicity is what makes it so lovely. Plus this is tranceaddict, not progaddict, and Aftermath isn't very trancey...

Hello!

For me it was a tie between perasma and mike foyle.

I voted for Foyle because he's a TA and those who have followed his work in the amateur producers forum have seen him just get better and better over time.

Queen vee I garee with you

The melody is so simple but so effective. truly excellent track and I'm glad to see its doing so well.

Come on people, support Foyley!

I'm still going to vote for Perasma's "Swing 2 Harmony" although I hate some remixes of it. Deserves An Effort Polyphony Vocal Mix/Dub Mix and Edu Jimenez vs. DJ Nano Remix is clearly the best one's of "Swing 2 Harmony". I still like Nikola Gala's original track from 2004 more than this one under the name of Perasma.

Perasma "Swing 2 Harmony" it is

Isn't it the same track

The result so far has been anything less than amusing.

Heck, Pryda - Aftermath will struggle to get into even the top-20 track list for 2005. It's at best an average "2-3 time listening" track. And comparing it to "Swing 2 Harmony" or even "I found you" is blasphemic.

I am gonna listen to Pryda - Aftermath and Purple Haze - Adrenaline atleast 3 times each tonite to find out if i actually missed out on something "hidden" in them.

Clearly you enjoy your cheese, comparing "Aftermath" to either of those tracks in a negative light basically destroys any credibility you could have had with me.

Those are easily two of the worst tracks released in the last two years.

Arrow Perasma - Swing To Harmony

Here is my ranking for the tracks in this group:

Perasma - Swing 2 Harmony
Interstate - I Found U
Mike Foyle vs. Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk
Above & Beyond vs. Andy Moor - Air For Life
Andy Moor - Halcyon
Jonas Steur - Castamara
Purple Haze - Adrenaline
Pryda - Aftermath

Relax. I wasn't trying to establish any credibility with you. When i listen to track, i don't categorize it and then decide whether i am gonna like it or not. Thanks god for small mercies.

As for them being the "two of the worst tracks released in the last two years", that maybe your or even majority opinion. But at the end of the day, they are just that - opinions.

Btw, i finished listening to Pryda - Aftermath again, and really struggled to see anything remotely likeable about it. Heck, DJ tiesto - A Tear From The Moon (Leama & Moor Remix) is 10 times better than it.

So yes, we have different choices.

Posted by spc on Jan-23-2006 09:02:

heh.. maybe when you mature a few years from new you may learn to appreciate pryda - aftermath much more than most of these tunes

And if you ever mature, i am sure you'll learn to appreciate the fact that tunes like Pryda-Aftermath are nothing above ordinary and not worth more than a couple of listening.

Btw, since are "mature" considering that you "appreciate pryda - aftermath much more than most of these tunes " can you explain what exactly is so "fascinating" about Pryda-Aftermath ?
