Colts haven't even made the Superbowl yet, at least the bills did 4x. Mannings #'s are terrible in his 6 playoff losses, he cant handle the pressure of the post-season.

Payton is an IDIOT.. In a post-game press conference he kept blaming the offensive line for his problems.. They should gang up on him and rape him..

Denver will unload Pittsburgh..
Seattle will unload Carolina..
Champ: Denver...
I wanna see Bailey on Steve Smith... dream match-up..

So...

Carolina vs. Seattle (in Seattle)

and

Pittsburgh vs. Denver (in Denver)

Looks like the Championship games are Defense vs. Offense... Im gonna have to say that the Superbowl game is gonna be Carolina vs. Pittsburgh - and Pittsburgh will take it.

Carolina has a better defense than the Redskins, as well as a much better offense, I expect that combination to be too much for Seattle to handle... anyway, in respect to choking - since the Colts did, I think its only proper that Seattle choke as they always do, as well. Score: 23 - 10 Carolina.

As for Denver beating Pittsburgh, people said the Colts would run over the Steelers - did that happen? No. It wasnt even close. Forget the turnover at the end, that was luck - Bettis doesnt fumble. Denver rely's on the run to open stuff up - but Pittsburgh is one of the best run stopping defenses in the history of the NFL, its what they are known for. Pittsburgh wont allow the run to start, with Anderson nor Bell. Score: 17 - 7 - Pittsburgh.

I don't think that'll be the defining factor in the game...remember the Pats pretty much shut down the Broncos running game too

1 thing - Polamalu. That is all.

never thought i would say it, but i think whoever wins the nfc will win it all. i thought chicago was going the the super bowl, but after the way carolina manhandled them, i think carolina is gonna win it all, and yes even w/o foster.

steelers will lock down denver
seattle will shut delhomme and smith down

steelers vs seahawks

it's a toss up for me, i love the steelers but i just have this "you slept on us feeling" about seattle.

I'm going out on a stretch and say
Seattle over Steelers 24-17

Ok, money wise - I'll run a hedge
Seattle Favorite to win
Money on the over (expect the line to be 42 +/-5 or 7)

My predictions are Carolina and Pittsburg for the Superbowl...

Posted by Member of X on Jan-17-2006 15:41:

Prediction: Denver beating Carolina.

Desired: Steelers vs SeaHags with SeaChickens winning. I'm not too partial to the SeaChickens being a Rams fan and interdivision rival but I'm from the west coast (and the NW) and want the westside, westside represented y'all!! Denver is more west but I just don't like them. And the Bus was drafted by the Rams.

Denver didn't really impress me last week, so I'd have to go with the Steelers, and Seahawks. Steelers win the SB.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The fan who ran onto the field at Cleveland Browns Stadium during a Steelers-Browns game was sentenced Tuesday to spend Super Bowl weekend in jail.

Nathan Mallett, 24, will begin his three-day sentence on Feb. 3 and won't be allowed to watch the Feb. 5 game on television or listen to it on radio.

Municipal Court Judge Joan Synenberg ordered Mallett not to attend Browns games in Cleveland or any other city for five years as a condition of his probation. He also most perform 150 hours of community service with Browns charities. He could have been sentenced to up to 30 days in jail.

Mallett, who expressed remorse in court, was convicted earlier this month of misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and criminal trespassing.

He has said he raced onto the field because he was upset by Pittsburgh's 41-0 win over the Browns on Dec. 24. His jaunt ended when Steelers linebacker James Harrison body-slammed him onto the ground and held him for police.

that was the most ridiculous call ever!! it was so obviously a catch. the ruling on the field should have been a recovered fumble, because that's exactly what it was!

that call put the colts right back in the game.

should be a great game against the broncos this weekend.

GO STEELERS!!!

Posted by phuzzyfish12 on Jan-22-2006 23:34:

Hell yea its gonna be a Killer game - i say Pittsburgh is taken it

Posted by vtec junkie on Jan-23-2006 14:08:

We will see how well the Seahawks offense plays against a top ranked defense like the Steelers. Carolina had a good defense....but nothing like Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has already proved they can run all over great defenses like Indy and Denver. Steelers proved everybody wrong.....you bet your ass Bettis is going to retire with a ring.

Posted by EarnYourKeep on Jan-23-2006 14:15:

as much as i want the steelers to win, i just can't be helped to think how much seattle has been slept on. maybe i just favor the under dog, which alot of people who gamble find money always rides the favorite which I'm sure the steelers will be favorite by atleast 7 going into the bowl.

i said it earlier

seahawks to win
over under 42 (+/- 5-7points)
