I always sneak some hard techno into my sets... it always brings the energy up a couple notches

Definitely a big fan of hard pounding percs without a trace of melody from time to time.

Glad to always see other people who appreciate techno's raw, stripped down, tribal, minimal sound, regardless of what style really

Techno doesn't need to use big build ups or break downs like trance. Techno's appeal is more about the subtle changes and a consistant rhythm.

It still does it for me like no other genre.

Most of them are here.

i enjoy some filthy techno from time to time

I can completely relate about work getting in the way! That is how it is for DJ Rush in Montreal next weekend for me.. I have to work Saturday morning

I think I've managed to change my return flight from Cali so I get back to the city at 4:30pm instead of midnight....so it's possible!

I would probably be trying to do the same!

Get outta the hard techno lover thread if you're not willing to sacrifice some beauty sleep for a rare appearance by one of the world's greatest techno artists.

I'd enjoy a night of Cox (playing a set like he did at 2005 Decadence), Liebing, and some Jeff Mills.
