dress code has been virtually non-existent in the club scene for the last 5 years.

having said that, yes you need to wear your sunday suit (with white tube socks) to get into the drink.

when i went down there for paul oakenfold they wouldnt lemme in through the drink entrance because i was wearing runners. so i guess the dresscode is in effect, if the bouncer wants it to be.

deko-ze didnt play up in the drink. if you look at the wall behind dekoze, you can tell that he is playing in the gallery room. the drink closed at 5:30am and i just happend to walk down to the gallery to check it out before i went home. sorry for the confusion.

the stairway that leads up to the drink from the guvernment main room requires you to have a stamp before 4am (i think its 4am but it could be 3am). in order to receive a stamp you need to come down those stairs before that time which means you need to enter the complex through the drink or d'luxe lounge which do have dress code / style code. no hats and no running shoes.

aah... so you can only go from the drink to the guv, not the other way around, huh?

and if i enter from the drink, i can't leave there till 2am?

no no no.
if you enter the complex through the drink, you can go into the guv. just get a stamp on your hand from the bouncer at the bottom of the stairs when you come down.
if it is before 4am then you will need that stamp to get back into the drink so make sure you dont wash it off.

what i meant was... If I enter through the Guv, can I go into the Drink?

if so, what time can i enter, and do i have to be in dresscode?

Also, I dont understand why these rules arent written on the Guv website... If they're gonna enforce it they should let people know before hand.

if you enter through the guv you will not be able to access the drink until around 4am (thats when the bouncer leaves and anyone can walk up and down those stairs for the rest of the night). dresscode will not be required at that time.

hmm... 4am is pretty damn late... I was hoping it was 2am.
how long does the party in the drink usually go for? 6am?

between 5-6am. depends on how busy it is inside.
