It just sounds like a 10 years old remasterised tune for me :/

Are you sure Cygnus X remix (6:57) is the one you like instead of Original mix (8:38)? The versions got mixed up at least on the cover of the CD single. If yes, so be it then.

i for one am sure it's the cygnus x remix i prefer. i like it much much better than the original. i can't even remember how the original is like as i don't like it nearly as much as the cygnus x remix. dunno if Kinde's got them mixed up though.

This track is kind of 'old style' with style

Now, what is wrong with 10 years old tunes? They are even better imo than the garbage that gets relased today. Sounds of yesterday FTW

Posted by RebeL9 on Feb-04-2006 05:01:

usually tunes like this don't get that much attention but since the majority of the releases today are total garbage even an average tune like Persia is seen as something special.
big propz to Simon for giving us some light in the darkness.

I have no idea what your talking about i have Easter Island on Vinyl, the mixs are different BUT no by much its your typical tweak mix unlike his remix of madagascar which owns and was consequentlly copied by Ferry and others.

I may be the only person that prefers the Vorontsov & Dorohov Remix.Well this tune sounds better proggier. The vocals aren't overused (which annoyed me in the Original Mix) and generally i didn't find anything special in the Original Mix.In fact i don't like this eastern style generally so this might be the reason. But the Remix is really good,it amazed me

I'm sorry but i have to note that this is the best trance tune of 2006 for sure.
Everything else just doesn't compare at all!
It definately has the old school feel to it yet keeps it so up to date that it just fits perfectly.

Posted by Stino on Dec-14-2006 13:52:

ok tune, a lot of people dig the old skool sound to it but i dig todays new sounds a lot more.

Platipus isnt releasing mcuh this year btw , but this release is ok

Sad to see Platipus not releasing much, but the only reason must be that there isn't that much good stuff to release.
Which leads me to say that i'm getting really tired of todays sound, it's getting really hard to distinguish different artist because they all sound the same.

Posted by Stino on Dec-14-2006 14:33:

this year was a quality year for trance

but about platipus, i actually thought they died trance wise, and all of sudden there is a new release

What are you ridiculing him for? Platipus has been a sleepy label for a few years now.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I look at the track.

i'm in love with that bassline of the original

i think because i think this has been a great trance year, and i seem to be one of the few guys on this forum who has that opinion. Most of the people hear seem to have other preferences.

because having 5 million 'digital' labels doesn't mean it's good. They'll sign anything, hell you're a testament to that. When there is so much bad stuff around, people won't look for gems (and in terms of that, persia is one of those) because they have to wade through so much 'real music' to find 'real music'

Posted by Stino on Dec-17-2006 14:58:

jesus can u just leave your hatred opinions for once, why in the world you introduce digital labels or my music in this conversation, it has nothing to do with this tune or my post. Labels like Monster Tunes, Discover/Flux Delux and Alter Ego Records are quality labels which deffo not sign anything that comes at their door, so keep your ungrounded comments about my music for yourself plz.

And persia is not a gem, its just a trance track, imo, its pure personal taste anyway.

For me personally, it wasn't a great year, but I have some recent tunes I listen to which totally brings my hopes back up for 2007. We'll see what 2007 brings.

Oh yes, the TranceHate.com argument again. If you think this site is so bad, then why don't you just get lost? I'm getting tired of this.
