You can't turn of the BPM counter on the CDJ-1000. I mean, why would you really want to? I like to use them just to see what pace my set is running at, and slowing bring things up when I feel the time is right.

The 1000's do loop, no limit within the track. The looping is manual though, unlike on the CDJ-200/800's.

that's kinda not so nice though, putting an ugly tape over your new shiny cdjs!

i think i'm gonna just use my cdj-100s' for now then, wouldn't really even have money to upgrate either!

anyone got any idea if there's bpm counters which you can't turn off on the cdj-1000s?!

edit:
oh, but the cdj-1000s don't have looping or do they?! and how much can the cdj-200s loops? 32 beats? 64 beats? is there some kind of limit there?

Ive been spinning for approzimately 67845 seconds to be able to beatmatch within 7-10 seconds.

you're pretty good! An average of 18hours of mixing and you've hit that standard! I wish i had your skills lol

It depends which tracks i'm mixing but usually it'll still take me about 30-50sec to get them bang on! Which i'm quite happy with as i haven't been mixing at all lately! (due to work! )

nelly
