Lots of political speeches can be fun.. though a little too heavy sometimes..

I've got a recording of an apollo mission launch. Now mix that into a breakdown.

Those are actually public domain files.

Thanks for the links...

These will be extra fun for my next set...

I actually used the movie angle once too. Started off the set with the music from the beginning of Top Gun. Wouldn't do it now - but it was ok at the time.

I think I played it because my friend took the record off the wall of a restaurant we were at about 2 hours before the gig.

Funny times.

Buy yeah as said before I think, Macdara Outro Ego Trip Acapella is a really good one.

For a more progressive set:
War of The Worlds - Eve of the War (Tom Middleton Cosmos Remix)

a damn good song and something everyone recognises nowadays.

For more trance, theres another TM remix of the same song that Marco V uses sometimes to open his sets thats also pretty awesome. Dunno if it has a special name other than Tom Middleton Remix.

They have short intros before launching into the spoken word bits. They are actually pretty good tracks before anyone jumps on and says 'how cheesy'.
