You'll never see their Yonah chip overclocked to over 6GHz with a 1400+ MHz bus speed, though!

I could never store all of my music in a laptop, anyway - and I'd hate to have to lug around all of the speakers for 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

Now who do you think is really with the times?

I'm just messin' with you, of course.

if you asked most ppl in the music industry(sound engineers/producers etc) 5.1 and 7.1 is not a good way to listen to music

Well more specifically what % of music is mixed in anything other than stereo, then what percent of that is dance music. Give me a good set of stereo speakers any day.

very true although you see some pop/rap etc music being mixed into 5.1/7.1 which I belive is a mistake it sounds shitty for music

But how much experience do you guys really have listening to good 5.1 setups?

There are some relatively cheap 5.1 speaker systems out there that sound incredible with a good sound card!

Shit, optical inputs and everything for $205.00...

Sorry about all the trouble. I actually did some research and found out that the G30 is coming out next month. That's why the G25 was discontinued.

The G30 is just plain...

just to reiterate guys, i'm looking for someone who wants something in the $1500-$2000 dollar range and wants to save 400-500 bucks on it. So, basically a computer or tv, or a collection of a few things.
