nah lol, Paul Lekakis - Boom Boom (Lets Go Back To My Room)

here is the lyrics,very cheesy

Hey baby I'd like to talk to you
How about coming back to my room for a little boom boom

You keep coming to me
I can dig your dynamite
Know the way you move
Get in the groove
You're driving me crazy, crazy for you

Second time you moved me
It's time for us to Boom Boom
You can come right close to me
And feel the burning fire
All the time you got me
It's fine for us to boom boom
If you see the spark in me
And feel my strong desire

Boom Boom Boom
Let's go back to my room
So we can do it all night
And you can make me feel right

Boom Boom Boom
Let's go back to my room
So we can do it all night
And you can make me feel right

Do the honor to me
Don't you know I like to bite
Get to the view
Closer to you
You're driving me crazy, crazy for you

Second time you moved me
It's time for us to Boom Boom
You can come right close to me
And feel the burning fire
All the time you got me
It's fine for us to boom boom
If you see the spark in me
And feel my strong desire

Boom Boom Boom
Let's go back to my room
So we can do it all night
And you can make me feel right

Boom Boom Boom
Let's go back to my room
So we can do it all night
And you can make me feel right

Arrow Its a Techno/Dance Mix, but still

Tune Up - Forever Young

It seems like it is a re-produce rather than a remix of Alphaville - Forever Young.

They could've done a better job with the "vocal" which is a robotic "tweeter" like sound.

Still a good track to drop on some slow night and pump up the dance floor.

Can't go past Owner of a lonely heart, gawd i hate that remix of message in a bottle.

Depeche Mode was the band that made the eighties great. this may be a bold statement but for me the eighties start and stop with Depeche Mode, and remixes are not lacking.

worst 80's song ever: In a big country.
worst 80's remix ever: well there are a lot of them but Noel Sanger's remix of In a big country might just take the cake. it's not so much the track Noel wrote around it but the fact that breaks and 80's pop should never ever ever meet. the result is something, lurid, dark and malevolant.

Noel's mix of In a Big Country is great. There is another version besides the breaks version.

Arrow

"worst 80's song ever: In a big country"

Don't break my heart man .

Isn't it the song with that band-marching tune? It's quite cool in my opinion.

My sole doubt is, it could be a 70s song. Or from around the time of "I want you to want me".

I LOVE the 80s. From synth pop (Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Human League, Erasure, Gary Numan, Rational Youth, Boytronic) to the rare & hard to find (B-Movie, MCL, Voyou, Moskwa TV, Axodry, Mysterious Art, Secession). This is what introduced me to electronic music.

Arrow True

"Dune have also done a version of Forever Young."

I think you are talking about "Who wants to live forever" unless you are talking about actual "Forever young" being reproduced/mixed by Dune. Not sure i heard that one.

Btw, who all will agree that Filter - Take My Picture (Hybrid Mix) can pass as an 80s Track mixed in 2000 and a very nice mix at that too ?

That's far from a fact. The two met many times with great success in the 80's. Why shouldn't they meet though?....

Oh, because you don't like the way it sounds to your refined earlobes. Music too tough for ya, huh? Too dark is it? Not enough pretty melodies to keep you enthralled? Baby want his baba? Huh? It's true though, Merzbow ain't got nothin' on Debbie Deb.

Arrow So far

I have listened to many a recommendations in this thread on some good remixes of 80s track and in my opnion, only 2 have stood out so far (way ahead of the rest of the league):

LMC Vs U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above
Max Graham vs Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart

Billie Jean - Bushwacka Mix is good too but doesn't really add anything to the original track.

Just convinces me that there are lot of good tunes out there that are yet to be picked up and mixed into something mindblowing.

Just hope some of our "godly" DJs wake up and scroll back and pick up some of them instead of making us throw up with their recent trashes.
