Didn't think so either, I remember when they were going to qualify for WC 2006 2 years ago that it was something like their first appeareance in Europe.

Weren't they in the Asian Qualifying Zone earlier..?

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jan-27-2006 19:26:

Oh and Italy is in a hard one with France, Ukraine and Scotland but no doubt will qualify with France

That's the first thing I think about when you say Albania or Switzerland.

Hmm, italy drawn with scotland again. Since I'm a glory hunting **** i'll be supporting italy. Toughest group to be drawn in imo tho.

I think even england would struggle to qualify from this group if they were in scotlands position. Should be quality seeing folk like henry, shevchenko and totti playing at hampden tho.

could of been worse, could of been better.

Definitly be a suprise. Germany arent the may-west really. Our record in group stages against the top teams is usually excellent. We are let down against performances against the lesser sides. Think us or slovakia will go through. Czechs will probaly finish top.

Wales have quite a poor team, specially now mark hughes is gone.

Valon wishes he was Albanian lol. We are screwd, but at least we wont finnish last in the group. I dont really follow that much, our team was very old, most of our players were about to retire..but if we have young talent then something might happend..but i dont expect much anyways.

yeah but England wouldn't be drawn with two top nations like that because England aren't shite. Ok sorry...I'll be cheering for Scotland over those two anyway

I said this a few months ago...Everton never go down. It's been over 50 years (longest run in the top flight). He's always hurt but makes an impression when he does play. We just missed knocking Chelsea out of the FA Cup today. We'll probably be walloped in the replay.
