@ anti-American sentiment expressed on the forum.

Happy fluffy tunes like the ones tiesto or pvd spins are just oh so much better...

Dark and twisted? Of course! That's the point! It's hilarious!

The complaint strikes me much the same as someone railing against the Addams Family.

Yeah...maybe you're right. I guess this isn't the place for that. But I think it was a valid comment, and I think there are obvious and valid reasons for anti-American sentiment.

As you are an American, it may seem easy to roll your eyes in apathy at comments like that. I think that attitude is a big part of the reason why there is such a large anti-American sentiment that reaches much farther than just this forum.

But...this is best left to be discussed in some other forum.

Yeah, I bet Bambam "Where's Your Child" has you running for the exits too.

And Lil Louis "French Kiss" makes you so squeamish and embarrassed that you personally started a political lobby aimed at getting this song destroyed from the minds of everyone who heard it.

The nerve!! How dare electronic music culture make actually interesting and thought-provoking music!! For now on, all music should have the musical maturity of wallpaper paste.

and don't get me going on fire & ice - neverending melody

ack, that's not really my point...I just think it was written in poor taste, that's all. I liked alot of Nirvana's music, but the song "Rape Me" makes me sick...just for the same reason...I am the kind that does not use profanity or foul language in public, because I believe it shows poor class, a lack of education or better ability to articulate, and little respect for others...so belittle me some more if you want, that's fine...

This song falls along those same lines in my book...I guess you all are right, it's a 'dark' song, but I don't appreciate listening to music that is basically PROMOTING pedophilia blatantly.

Posted by WardC on Jan-28-2006 01:10:

haha I must sound like some ultra-conservative boring censorship-addict or something.

haha yeah I do...

You're fucking wrong there too, because I have more fucking class, better education and am more insightful and articulate eating breakfast on a bad day than you can ever hope to possibly be in the cumulative brainfarts of your life, so there.

I will belittle you because I can, I just like to swear for emphasis. Now ish da time on schprockets vere ve donce!

*does the robot, pees on WardC's grave*

I think this would go down well too:

http://www.discogs.com/release/463917

I'd play it at my wedding.

I think WardC's brain is going to melt and ooze out of his ears and nose when he looks at those.

...and you are also very, very immature.

How sad, and I actually love your guide to electronic dance music...I really respected you and held you in high regard as a great contributor to the betterment of the scene.

Do I still? Fuck yah!! (yeah, this is all a joke, right - musical expression is good, I concede)

The vocals were written by the bisexual Brian Molko ... whoever said it was even about paedophilia?
