saying something like that when we're talking about a tiesto track is acceptable but not saltwater. no way in hell can you say that about saltwater

"Dj" Bojan Zec, you're a musical idiot

Saltwater's a great track. It has a really rich, deep, solid groove in one hand, and it has those emotive, breathy vocals in the other that add a real bit of class to the track without being nearly as obtrusively blatant as most "emotional" trance.

That said, I think Offshore is much better.

I love in the beginning, the vocals start, then my favorite part is the bassline!

so. he's just turned 16 and he's from Aplz-ville. If that doesn't show he's a fucking clueless dick (Who in sports discussion used the argument of calling someone a "Yank" as abusive.

This track is just dreamy, it's not meant to do anything major (read this all of the try-hard epic producers of today) It just does what it has to, emotional, beautiful & dreamy

I'm a 'yank.' I first heard this when I was 15/16. I loved it.

lol

great song...

i've sticked it in with that song as background...nirvAnA!!orgasm!!

Posted by Iceferno on Jan-28-2006 20:15:

To me, Saltwater's good because it has an Ambient intro. It's better than just starting off a song with a beat.
I believe that Beginning-Ambience gives Trance music more depth. I also like the fact that Nick puts Breakbeat elements in the track. Saltwater is one of the few tracks that actually deserves to be a Classic.

Let me guess- you were being ironic to see our reactions, right? At least, now the thread has gone against you? Or are you just the type of dick who likes to incite negative responses for the huge amount of "humour" anyone would get from that sort of thing?

each to their own.

any music that conjures up such emotion and imagery such as saltwater is amazing.

Hell yeah. Must be a troll who starts this kind of thread. If you can not learn to appreciate Chicane, then you are probably sick. Chicane is still up to this date one of the greatest (if not the best of the) producers the scene has ever known. This is not a matter of taste, this is a fact.

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jan-29-2006 04:57:

Seriously. Just stop feeding the troll.

Heh, why's that?

Posted by Soonmeister on Jan-29-2006 05:05:

The tune is in a world of its own...the melody...the emotion...you can (well i can) actually feel what the producer is trying to express in the song....its a song that makes me think and chills me out whenever im cheesed off or upset...

Thats the beauty of trance and thats why i fooking love it..and chicanes saltwater that sets a milestone in my mind and ill never forget the tune until i pass away....

The only thing that comes close is Halcyon.
