I honestly haven't been impressed with the PvD sets I've heard in a long time, or the recent productions (I actually deleted columbia from my hard drive, and i NEVER do that), but there is no doubt he's one of the best DJ's around, and one of the best producers around, just not to my taste.
In your opinion what is the best PvD set and production??
I've heard that his set at the love parade at leeds 2000 was amazing, just wish I'd gone

PS Matt Darey is the better producer IMO

PvD's tunes are more harder than soft cheesy trance. Its great for dancing too! But I'd prefer to hear it in a club than at home tho.

The unique thing about PVD is that his music has so much emotion and melody without being cheezy, as Ferry/Armin/Tiesto can sometimes be. At the same time, he never bores you with emotionless prog like a Digweed/Howells style. That's what makes him such an incredible DJ, because both the tunes that he produces and spins both walk that fine line avoiding cheezy over-production and meddlesome progressive.

I HATE PVD

Obviously i am lying, but i dont think he is the best, but this year, for me his has been, look forward to new things from pvd, and looking forward to people who will challenge him

Yeh the best place for Judge Jules is a zoo....with the rest of the monkeys! At least if he were locked behind bars, we wouldn't have to listen to his shit mixing and his annoying voice...

For sure... and even the 1st CD kinda grew on me (after hearing it a dozen times), just because the uniqueness of beats, breaks and mixing... just... WOW! I'm speechless!

well.
i suppose everyone has their "opinions" etc.

but .... . i cant seem to find any one else, other than PVD. that can uplift the crowd, read the crowd, & take the crowd away on a musikal journey...
hes just amazin, as an artist, and as a DJ.

I know you are joking, but i just want to make a point. I like Judge Jules. That is my opinion, i dont care what others think, although i do like other djs a lot. And i wont stand up for jules this year, has he has not been very good. As many of my TA friends will know, i know what i think. Sorry but i could change my addiction to pvd or tiesto to follow fashion, but i dont like to be like a sheep. Thank you
