Without resorting to the use of that helpful Gilette commercial, how are 5 blades better than 3, or one for that matter? You ask any barber and they'll tell you that they could do a better job with a double-edge razors than you could with one that has 10 blades.

I bought the fusion power last week and after using it twice i can safely say that it is definately an improvement over the m3power thought not quite as much as they were making it out to be. The single blade at the back is definately a good idea but im still awaiting that razor which guarantees no cuts.

It's a fucking razor. It cuts shit. How is it supposed to guarantee no cuts?

Learn how to shave!

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Feb-05-2006 03:51:

That's what I'm saying!

You don't need all this 5-blade double aloe strip bullshit. All you need is to learn how to shave properly, and then 3 blades will be just fine.

1 blade is more than enough if you use a straight blade.

Are you reffering to the one's most commonly found in Luigi & Lorenzo's Barbershop type of places? They make one hell of a weapon.

I'm big sucker when it comes to mens shaving marketing.

Example:

Mach 3 Turbo Champion.

I bought it because because the marketing I loved the racing angle they took.....the red and the racing stripes I was hooked.

I had a regular Mach 3 before that, I had to get the same one that made me feel like I bought a Lemans Porsche 911 even though its exact same thing but different colour.

All the keys words like Turbo and Champion catch my attention....and yes this is smart marketing because all it does is give me a good shave.

Thank you Gilette for your market savvy branding, and I will be a slave to your macho ways.

omg.... 5 Blades????

Cale actually told me about these a few days ago...he said that the first blade is to cut the hair, the 2nd blade is to graze the skin, the 3rd blade is to actually cut the skin, the 4th blade is to cut the flesh, and the 5th and final blade is to shave off a little piece of your bone.

Good luck

I think you should send that thread to the company. Germans are crazy...they may send you a whole case of it as a thank you

and maybe throw in a BMW while they're at it?
LOL
