I am driving from Reading, so if you can get here, I can give you a lift. Although it might be quicker just getting the train

Hi,

I was wondering if an event like this usually sells out?

I'm planning to drive there, whats a good time to arrive if I don't have tickets?

Posted by Jim on Feb-20-2006 20:06:

With the lineup that's on I don't think it'll sell out. They only usually sell out at passion if it's someone like Tiesto playing.

Rammed was not the word.

yeah that was the last birthday wasn't it, just over a year ago. was definitely a sellout cos i wanted to go initially but couldn't get a ticket

Was it? I didn't think it was their birthday. Could well have been though because I remember it being in february.

Can't remember who was even on now. Just remember it being stupidly packed and hating every minute of it.

tiesto & hardwick

Aaah, forgot it was the birthday. Was probably because I disliked it so much, tried to kid myself that a passion birthday couldn't possibly be that bad.

Are there any TAs planning to get a taxi back into Leicester? If anyone wants to share a lift to cut down on travel costs that would be cool. Will be staying right until the end though

Posted by nutsan on Feb-22-2006 10:39:

how much is a taxi gonna cost? me and a friend are wanting to go but have to come via train from blackpool. itsgonna costa small fortune for us in travel expenses

Now that was a party!!!!

This night was great!

Andy Moor's set was one of the bet I've heard, proper good progressive trancy stuff. Lange vs Thrillseekers was great, a little harder than I expected but good anyway AND they dropped Vincent De Moor - Flotation a favorite classic!

Was in the DJ box with Marcos for his set in the back room, was a great set, really chunky but melodic trance. Agnelli & Nelsons set was good too, they played 'Holding onto Nothing' at the end, which was nice.............

Got chatting to Mike Koglin and he gave me a vinyl of 1:1:618, nice.

Only crap thing about the night was Mark (Marcos) getting shat on by the various promoters, he had to pick up Katana from Brum and take him back after playing his set, no fuel cocts paid to him for this and then the staff tried to argue his DJ fee with him. Crap eh?

Awesome night, don't remember who I even saw though. I was just wandering around the green room confused for most of the night

damn, bit shit that! i wondered why he looked so miserable later in the night when i tried to speak to him. guessing katana was late since i'm sure morph played WAY over his hour slot & randy was barely on for long at all before aled mann took over (though i left the room when he was on)

anyways.. i saw yaz (decent enough warmup, played solarstone's new one which sounded nice), andy moor (meh ok, nothing special but nothing unbearable either), mark norman (good, but would have been better playing later on so the tempo could have been upped), marcos (excellent, solid set topped off by cosmicstring ), simon patterson (best of the night, was well surprised by him since he sounded nothing like jules/dogzilla & i don't think i recognised a single track, best mixing by a long way too), alex morph (predictable, producer-orientated set with ropey mixing but was fun all the same), aled mann (brilliant finisher in the red room) & mike koglin (comparitively wank finisher in the main room)

enjoyed it loads all the same... nice meeting some new faces alongside many older ones

Gotta agree with isoterra. LOL @ MORPH when Ibiza sky skipped like a good 'un cause of some punter leaning into the DJ box.

lol, it is VERY sad that you can believe it, becasue that implies you must actually think quite highly of yourself, which is really ironic as you are infact a total and utter waste of space. if you have nothing constructive to say then fuck off to somewhere that cares and stop ating like a biiiiiiig steaming turd.
