her fault anyway. y would u take drugs at that age? that's just stupid. and the guy who gave it to her should go to jail for that kinda shit. moron.

unless he forced it down her throat he shouldnt get charged at all. (except for actually having the drugs himself)

bullshit.

but we'll never hear the results of a conclusive toxicology and/or autopsy report...it will forever be known as an "ecstasy-related death".

we'll see today or tomorow about the results. Its done at the same building i work at.

Do you think the person who gave it to her can be charged???

Yes he was arrested, he's 16, he will be charged like a mofo.

i bet they call it a rave drug when it probably didnt happen at a rave.

Just goes to show that shutting down raves, donut shops, parks etc where people may be doing drugs wont do anything to solve the problem.

Well its a mainly "rave" drug, like it or not. But no, they don't shut raves, we're not Ontario

the chick obviously wasn't being responsible with this usage...
plus she is 13... what kind of a 13 year old would be doing such hard drugs... thats awful...

responsible? you kidding right, what kid is at that age? It was maybe her first use, she had no clue what she was in for.

Plus E is not percieved as a hard drug by kids, its portrayed as a cool pleasure drug. Kids, think they're invincible, nothing can happen to them. right? right.

It is not mainly a rave drug. First off when was the last time a rave occured? Second, most of the time i hear people taking E these days they are at home. Furthermore i know of many intellectuals that take the stuff for introspection and mind expansion.

Let us know if you can what the result were... as suspected I'm sure it wasn't just MDMA in that pill.

Good... you should be giving that stuff to 13 year olds ... isn't that like criminal negligence or something...

(PS I watch too much Law & Order)

it will be interesting to see whether this death was caused directly due the drug itself... or if it's another case of hyperthermia or hyponatremia.

kids that young really shouldnt be messing with this stuff

A girl I went to school with in grade 8 died from taking E.

That is why I have never tried it.

One of my brothers friends died recently indirectly from E.
It wasn't the drug that killed him, but the decisions he made on it.
He was drunk and high. He ended up on the Gardner Xpress after a random chain of events. He then was struck by 2 differnet cars. After being on life support for a little over 24 hours, he passed on,only 19 years of being able to experience life.
His funeral is today.
Drug are fun in moderation. Know you limits, and take care of your friends while experimenting.

I would say the drunk part had more to do with it then the high part. People need to learn you can't do both...either get drunk or get high but use a little common sense and don't do both.

the only time i ever do stupid shit is when im drunk. weed mellows me out too much, E just hieghtens the senses, ok so speed makes me dance like a maniac but i still wouldnt walk out onto the gardiner....

E gets blamed for far too much these days IMO. the only time i have ever seen people hit the floor is wehn they mix thier drugs and booze.

botom line is, this story isnt going to affect my drug use at all. i consider myself a fairly responsible drug user, i dont do random shit, i dose what i feel comfortable with, i dose with friends whom i trust, and i dont pick up pills off of any tom dick or harry. and i dont mix my drugs and my booze.... okay so E and mushrooms simultaneously but thats not the end of the world

any drug habbit should be based off of your own personal research and informed decisions. before i dropped E for the first time i did a lot of reading and made my own decision that the benefits were worth the risk. and i have never regretted that decision. at 13 i dont think anyone can competantly say that they understand all the risks and factors involved. not to mention trust the word of a 16 yr old as to the quality of the drugs.

this is a sad case of ignorance and mis information. had that girl understood what she was getting herself into she may have waited longer before trying E.
