How do you guys choose the amount of bandwidth to use with this program?? Is there some sort of "formula"??

Ive downloaded a couple of files from this and it seams to work fine, no ones up loaded files yet though, dunno if it relasies imm on a 56K and stays away from me!!

And when are more people going to be using this?? 5 people does seam a small amount for a test...

Can anyone get me the eDonkey2000 exe proggie??? i cannot download it from that site... everytime i try it says "request timed out". For some reason i guess no one else has this problem. otherwise, you guys would have 6 peeps.

ok i got my monster up finally.....

around 2:30 p.m. eastern, Friday January 25th 2002.
It will take awhile for all the files to hash, b/c i have this:

808 mp3 files, totalling 20.3 Gigabytes....

... and thats just ONE of my hard drives... (i have 3 hard drives set up on this computer). I will add the others later if these ever finish hashing. I have ADSL with very high upload speed so good luck and have fun.

*note: there are only 3 users online (including myself) right now... sharing 1200 files. (not including mine)..... so where is everyone???

Right had majour probs - phone line wasnt working, but back on now, at the moment i have all the tunes i need (apart from a few imm geting from AG) so ill be loged in with no modem activity for most of daytime GMT time, know imm only a 56ker, upgrading to cable soon!

hmmm, i set up another eDonkey because my version was 58 and couldn�t connect to TA-Donkey server!

seems like everything works fine!!!
there is only one thing which should increase.... USERS... only 3 online, although more than 1700 files available he he

c'mon peepz, it doesn�t hurt, set up the donkey and share with us!

getting good speeds of about 20kb/s

WOAH, i think youre gettin the wrong idea.. first of all, im not a leecher, if anything people will be leeching off of me (which i dont mind)...i have 50g of mp3s with a cable connection, which is way too many, but why not share em???

im not being a coward (how did you come up with that), i was just asking a question. as far as i know thats still legal in the US... and i am taking fucking responsibility, thats why i asked. im curious (curiosity is still legal isnt it?) to know if the reasons i stated were the only ones or if he just didnt want albums on there because of any other reason..

jesus christ man, thats twice youve snapped on me.. you read into what i am saying way too far, then turn it into some negative thing, and then twig out.. it was just a question...sorry, but its not fun gettin yelled at for no fuckin reason!

so y rnt u on eDonkey then??

i just installed you ta patch swamper!! GREAT work, it's much faster as the normal edonkey server etc.. i'm sharing some stuff now (too bad i can only share with an 5 kb/s upload )

i posted thursday about 10 minutes before I left for a 4 day ski race. i got back home sunday at 11:00 at night and went to bed. i hadnt had enough time register until this morning. and now i am on and am sharing. no hard feelings then?? sorry though, i just pissed to hear all that shit after a long 4 days of 5:00 mornings and 12:00 nights.. no sleep = irratible.
