My Rams just signed Glover. Feel it funk it. I like the move, Rams defense sucks your tities. We need the fat bodies to clog something because usually the running back sees nothing but daylight.

i guess you should remember those days when glover was a new orleans saint, and he was eating the rams offensive line for lunch and dinner, and abusing kurt warner and jamie martin .

Glover and Hand were part of that monster defense, but they could never get past the Rams in the playoffs.

Going back to the Dolphins again - I totally forgot to mention probably the biggest free agent QB available - Drew Brees. Hands down, I'd rather see him in Miami then anyone else

I pray the Fins don't get Drew... I love Drew, I think he's a smart QB

and I don't want the Pats playing Brees TWO times out of the year...lol...

I don't remember abusing anything on our offense. Jamie Martin? He's abusing himself for sucking so bad. I remember the Rams D giving up a bunch of points though and our offense scoring just as frequently. It was a good rivalry, too bad it went away with the division realignment.

Drew Brees.. meh

You've got to admit Brees is an upgrade over Sage Rosenfels

Back to the Rams....... and for starting this discussion I'm going to find you and beat you!!

Rams are still trying to sign him and I'm praying they do. He's the last LA Ram. I have his old jersey from 1998. I have his autograph portrait in my room. He's my favorite player of all-time. I will be very heartbroken if he leaves because he still has juice left in the tank. A likely destination is Detroit with Martz as Offensive Coordinator. I've heard Washington too. Rams just didn't want to pay him 8 mill but I hope they work something out.

Kevin Curtis came on and performed well,so at least that is a bit comforting if you don't resign him

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Mar-08-2006 00:42:

yes it was very sad to hear Isaac Bruce part ways with the St Louis Rams.

most likely, yes , maybe the lions, if they get rid of one of the 3 receivers (williams, rodgers, williams) . most likely rodgers if they were desperate.

another suggestion that could be good is kansas city. wouldn't be surprised if he goes there to help kc's wideout unit, which i still can't understand how eddie kennison is their leading wide receiver (not counting tony gonzalez of course, since he is a tight end) .

i see a bright future ahead of kevin curtis. most likely when proehl and jurevicius retire, kevin curtis will take the reign as the best "white guy" wide receiver.

no faith in Matt Jones? lol... I think he has great potential...

but yeah Curtis has that certain something that might make him a star in the coming years...

sporting news draft mag has the rams taking Vince Young with their pick...i can't see him falling that far and getting past the Raiders

Wow, I didn't see that. That's too funny but he'll be drafted earlier even with his (alleged) 6 wonderlic score. At least I still think so. I'd say 90% of mocks have the Rams taking an offensive player, the TE Vernon Davis. Even though they desperately need defense. That guy is a freak.. ran a 4.4 and is 6 ft 5 or something and like 260 lbs. Genetic mutant. I think he might go earlier though to the Forty Whiners. Saw his combine highlights, he looked scary!!

Sporting news has Vernon Davis going to the cardinals..which would possibly give them one of the scariest offenses...especially if they land edgerin James

Reports out of Ohio suggest that the Cleveland Browns are interested in opening negotiations with Issac Bruce

Posted by Spartan on Mar-08-2006 03:34:

LaVar Arrignton is no longer a Redskin

There will be at least 10 teams fighting over him, but my guess is he will either go Cowboys, Giants, or Eagles, which will be extremely hard to watch.

Drew Brees = Overrated imho

and Patrick Ramsey has an amazing arm but couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I very much doubt he will be starting next season for Miami.

Isaac Bruce resigned with the Rams for 3 years. This pretty much means he'll end his illustrous career with the team that drafted him back in 1995.

And it makes me a very happy camper. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce.

I knew it was a likelihood he'd resign because he said so (and I read the St. Louis Post dispatch everyday on the net).

In case anyone cares, the Browns signed former Ohio State standout LeCharles Bentley and Joe Jerevicius to deals. Both are natives of Cleveland. The Browns also shored up their porous offensive line by signing LT Kevin Shaffer (former Falcons player).

Nice to see the browns making some moves with that 27 million worth of cap room

Posted by SlackerBoy9 on Mar-12-2006 02:26:

Vikings sign Ryan Longwell and Rb Chester Taylor
Bucs resign Matt Bryant
Texans sign Dl Anthony weaver
Bills sign dl Larry Triplett
Saints reportedly have offered 5 year 40 mil deal to Drew Brees and will more than likely take D'Brisckshaw Ferguson with 3rd pick

Cardinals get Edge, what a mistake.

WHen is Dennis Green going to learn that just plugging in a big name player won't create a ground game for your offense. We had Emmitt Smith, Marcel Shipp... it doesn't matter who it is they need to get a BETTER 0-LINE.

Posted by King Ecnal on Mar-13-2006 18:13:

Edge used to be cool...

what in the hell is he thinking...

have fun with Kurt Warner...

lol

Kurt Warner sucks... this is coming from a guy that saw him win a Super Bowl with my team. Liked him then but that was then. Fitz and Bolden made him look better than he was last year.

Cards needs an offensive line or Warner will miss half the season next year. He just holds......holds.......holds.... the ball. Slam... sack!

No holes for Edge either.

Oh yeah... memo to Redskins fans. Enjoy Adam Archuleta. Great in the box but stone hands, bleh coverage skills, always takes bad angles on tackles outside of the box, and is injury prone.

Posted by Spartan on Mar-14-2006 00:31:

oh we will have fun w/ Archileta, anyone next to Sean Taylor (assuming he's not in jail) will look amazing.

and BRANDON LlOYD BABY!!!!!!!! How awesome is that?! Moss and Lloyd. I nearly wet my pants, Lloyd is so freaking good, and so young, I can't wait for this fall.

They also got SF's linebacker Carter to help w/ the pass rush now that Lavar is gone, and not to mention Antwain Randel El, and Christian Fauria.

Our offense just went from piss pore to awesome.

With Portis at RB, Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd and Randel El at WR, and Chris Cooley and Christian Fauria as TE's, they will def. go deep into the playoffs again as long as Brunell doesn't get hurt.
