Awwwww! Between you and Curly, even commitment-phobic-malia wishes she had a Valentine. (JUST for today though, lol.) Seriously though, how sweet.

God damn Curly. You are the gayest straight man i've ever known

Not doing anything today cuz i'm in class until 10 tonight. But tomorrow Bunny and I will get dinner somewhere. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary 2 weeks ago so we're both kinda broke

I'll probably get her flowers or something, it's the thought that counts! Plus she's still in love with that Tiffany's necklace I got...that had to buy me a few months

Posted by gabba420 on Feb-15-2006 00:52:

Well I bought my girl tickets for PVD. So we will celebrate on Friday. Although the tickets are mostly for me, cause she dont like trance. haha

You are not getting something only because it's V-Day, but out of sincere love.

i do shit all the time

[Rant]I HATE HATE HATE HATE Valentines Day! ICK
It is just another day for the card companys, Candy stores, flower shops, Restrants.. to make extra Money.
If you love someone or care for some one you would show that person that every day you are with them. Not just one day a year!

Just think all the candy, cards... will be 1/2 off tommmrow!! WOOT WOOT!!
[/rant]

My Day:
Got up went to work.. got yelled at at work... again for something totlay stupid again. Got off work went to get my hair cut, took care of some erronds and went to work out.
This was the best day to do ANYTHING non V-day related since every one was out.

I'm just glad my wife is allergic to flowers

all holidays are the same...its all business. Christmas, Valentines, Thanksgiving, New Years. Its important to constantly spend time with your loved ones and do nice things for them on a consistent basis. But holidays are the times you can go above and beyond and do something a little extra and out of the ordinary.

so i'm driving home from yoga class and my friend calls me and asks me if i would like to go with her to get some movies signed by tim burton at best buy in west hollywood, so i'm like okay, b/c i have nothing else better to do ( ) so we go and there is like 600 people in line when we pull up. we wait in line, and wait, and wait. tim is like 30 minutes late we move in line and the store closes at 11 pm and it's like 10:30 and there are maybe 30 people in line ahead of us and the security comes out and is like tim's wrist is getting sore so we are closing up the line and the store is closing soon. i'm like 30 people away, and i stood in line for over 3 hours on valentines day, with a bunch of really strange die hard tim burton fans and got nothing signed. i am a loser, i'm gonna go slit my wrist now. good night

happy f#*king valentines

Female Bum Behind Valentine Symbol?
By Jennifer Viegas, Discovery News

Feb. 13, 2006 The familiar double-lobed heart symbol seen on Valentine's Day cards and candy was inspired by the shape of human female buttocks as seen from the rear, according to a professor of psychology who studied the origin, history and symbolism of the Feb.14 holiday.

Galdino Pranzarone of Roanoke College in Salem, Va., told Discovery News that he analyzed "essential literary and speculative evidence from mythology and secondary sources," which led to his theory. He believes one rather obvious bit of evidence is that the heart symbol does not directly duplicate the heart human organ.

"The twin lobes of the stylized version correspond roughly to the paired auricles and ventricles (chambers) of the anatomical heart," Pranzarone said, but added that the organ "is never bright red in color" and its "shape does not have the invagination at the top nor the sharp point at the base."

Pranzarone indicated that the ancient Greeks and Romans could have originated the link between human female anatomy and the heart shape. The Greeks, he said, associated beauty with the curves of the human female behind.
