And the mixing on this sucks and he used ableton

The tracklist is chilled...its nice stuff...but maybe not what alot of people are expecting.

The best LA themed CD ever was Digweed GU019 Los Angeles...I doubt anyone will ever top how dark and deep that shit was...like driving through LA at night.

ISOS 5

CD 1
1. Conil - Malibu Beach
2. Mark Norman feat. Celine - Colour my Eyes
3. Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets [Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Remix]
4. Electro-Prompt - Beside Me (Gothek DC Remix)
5. Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party
6. Leama & Moor - Everything Matters (Matthew Dekay Remix)
7. Matthew Dekay vs Proluctors - Let The Game Begin
8. Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms (Club Mix)
9. Parker & Hanson - Let Me Be (Original Extended)
10. Kalafut & Fygle - Novocaine (Mark Otten Remix)
11. JES - People will go (Steve Forte Rio Remix)
12. Basic Perspective - Small Step On The Other Side
13. Tom Cloud - Told You So
14. AM - Arise (Exclusive Hammer & Funabshi Remix)
15. Cass - Little Bird

CD 2
1. Pink Elephant - LAX
2. Alex Stealthy - Something Is Wrong
3. Shah & Laruse pres. Global Experience - Zanzibar
4. Progression - Technophobia
5. A Boy Called Joni - Green Astronauts
6. Petter - These Days (Luke Chables Those Days Remix)
7. Estuera - Tales From The South (Jonas Steur Revision Flow)
8. Ozgur Can - Irony
9. Jonas Steur - Second Turn
10. Smith & Pledger pres. Aspekt - Hi-Jack
11. Jaytech - Genesis (Jimbo's Afterburner Mix)
12. Super 8 + DJ Tab - Helsinki Scorchin'
13. Way Out West - Don't Forget Me (Guy Ehmetores Remix)

The mixing is only dodgy in a few places. I'd say it's a little better than the ISOS 4 mixing.

Highlights for me are:
Mark Norman feat. Celine - Colour my Eyes
Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets [Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Remix]
Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party
Cass - Little Bird
Petter - These Days (Luke Chables Those Days Remix)
Global Experience - Zanzibar

In ISOS 4 I thought G&D - Arcadia and Infusion - Do What You Want completely didn't fit in. He doesn't do that as badly with any tracks in ISOS 5. One complaint for me would be the way it meanders a bit, and doesn't really place an emphasis on the end at all. But on that note, it's nice to see a tracklist with a lot more house and progressive and chilled tunes than epic after epic track.

3. Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets [Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Remix]

that song is tight

if you listen to tiesto's concert from heineken music hall from a couple months back, his mixing is pretty good

in reference to this CD being different and more chilled, ISOS is designed to be more chilled. It's supposed to be a reflection of morning trance, nice, dreamy and chilled. None of the previous ISOS CD's were up beat so I'm not sure why people are expecting Magik sytle mixes.
I think if you can take this mix for what it is supposed to be it should be enjoyable like the last ISOS. This is not supposed to be a club stomper. I've enjoyed the past ones.
