THANKS EVERYONE for your well-wishes! This weekend was quite a blur for me, but everything seemed to work out perfectly (I mean she said yes... it couldn't be more perfect than that!).

Here's how it all went down (Warning: to those that hate when things get mushy, you may want to skip this section):

It all started as she arrived home from work at 7. I was waiting for her as she walked in the front door. I took of her coat and had her close her eyes. I lead her up the stairs with dim candles lighting the way into the bathroom where I had a nice hot bath ready for her. I undressed her and had her get into the water to relax and wait for me to prepare some things. The table was set with our best china (fittingly named "Love Story") and lit with more candles around the room. After enough time for her to soak, I went to help her get dressed and escorted her to the table and sat her down. An appetizer of fried Bre, crackers and fruit was served first with an amazing ceasar salad. Once that was done, I brought out a boneless chicken breast stuffed with spinach and mushroom sauce for her and a nice striploin for me. Both with a side of red potatoes and vegetables. Both meals were fantastic with a nice bottle of red wine. Once we were finished that, we sat enjoying each other's company for a few moments. I explained that "I've been thinking about some things lately and had something I wanted to read to her". I read a full page of how I felt about her, our new house, and the future we'll share together. When I was finished, I showed her the ring and asked her if she would marry me. Without hesitation she jumped up from her seat and ran over to me and we clashed in one of the happiest moments of our lives... I got down on a knee and slipped the ring on her finger. We seemed to get lost in each other for a few minutes to soak it all in! It was really amazing. Then I brought out our desert... an incredible chocolate delicacy... a dark chocolate mousse covered in little chocolate covered heart shaped cakes surrounded with wildberries and blueberries. It was sooooooo good.

It all went perfectly and there was no better time or place to do it. The best feeling came the next day when I still felt fully confident and happy to know that she was now my fiance! For the last 2 days she hasn't been able to stop looking at her finger... which is also a GREAT thing to see

Anyways, sorry for the mushy post with all the details, but it's the most romantic and amazing experience of my life and I wanted to share it with you guys to make sure I did it justice. I promise I'll be back to my old self once this post if finished

Anyways, thanks again for your kind words! We'll have to celebrate at the cottage this weekend!!!!

Special thanks to Aaron for making himself scarce for the night

CHEERS!!

Tim, your rep of being an evil dude is slipping away.

Gotta do something about it.

LOL! What can I say? I've been influenced by an angel...

Although, you still experienced my dark side with "Tygon's Twisted Nightmare" edit of Traffic on Friday! hehehe

The battle rages on
