added mp3 support and a few minor upgrades shouldn't cost Pio users a new deck with Denon for example their dn-s5000 mp3 playback was added through software upgrade

how long before we see decent price drops on the mk1's?
anyone?
That's B.S.
You can get two tracks beatmatched a lot easier on a pair of CDJ's at .02% pitch accuracy then you can on Technics.
Sorry, but it's true. Sure a potentiometer has potentially "inifnite" accuracy, but there are about 30 other things that contribute to the accuracy of the deck.

hawt
pitch accuracy is for noobs
i honestly dont find the 02 pitch accuracy that helpful if im playing live, but it definetely helps when recording sets.
i mean you have to beatmatch quick when live and dont wanna play around with ever .02 and instead u put it on .05 and move the jog wheel a bit and thats all. but for recording i want the music to be beatmatched as long as possible and as well as possible and thats better with .02 accuracy.
the only reason im looking forward to buy the cdj800 is because of the jog wheel feel (which is identical to cdj1000). at least i know how to handle a cdj1000 if i play at a club
p.s. from what i know the jog wheel feel and sensitivity is completely different between the cdj800 and the cdj200. correct me if im wrong

i've been able to find the pioneer cdj-800 mk2 for $699.00 (us)
and the pioneer cdj-1000 (mk1 looks like) for $799.00
and also the cdj-1000 mk2 (demo model) for $799.00 what the hell should i get?
i've already got the denon dns-3500. i like it. but it doesn't blow me away. and i need another cdj anyways to complete my set-up. plus it will be nice to have a pioneer around so when i play out at clubs i'll know what the hell i'm doing on it.
