Werdddd, it was a sick night. great tunes, unbelievable effects by zabiela, good energy. It was cool to meet seamus and his friend chris. Me and dubs got a pic with zabby at the end of the night. I gotta send that to you man. Does anybody know the name of the last song zabby played (not the encore).

Can you describe the track? Maybe someone can help you id it. Did it have a vocal?

Could you be any more vague? JK 1/2 the shit JZ drops won't be released for another year anyway, so id'ing is nearly impossible.

I'm not good at describing tracks

Sweeeeeet. Thanks! I knew you'd know those.

Ahhh! One more I've been meaning to ask you. "Oh my god its... Oh my god its... Oh my god its... Oh my god its techno music!" What's that one?

It was definitely slower than other tracks he plays. Doubt that helps because he doesnt play too slow in many sets I've heard.

1/4 the size of avalon....much darker vibe to it... dj booth is much closer to the crowd. sound isn't bad at all.

here's pvd at axis

it's smaller than avalon, but it's got a good vibe. It's a good place to see a dj. The Dj booth is visable pretty much everywhere in the club. In terms of the sound, it could definately use some work. I couldn't even stand out on the floor last night cause the highs were way too loud. Never have been a fan of the sound system and the lighting is pretty mediocre as well.

Despite all that, there have been some pretty memorable nights there e.g. paolo mojo and sasha last june and deep dish last july

It's not even really a true club it's just avalon's bitch if you wanna look at it that way. All avalon staffing etc. They don't really pour much money into it but it's not a bad venue at all

It's not a bad venue, but with a few tweaks it could be a great venue

did anyone notice the male bathroom smelling like insecticide or something
lol

Posted by Shamez214 on Feb-25-2006 02:04:

Yeah... the lighting is pretty bad there on a general level. However, when Melee dropped that Around the World mix and the room lit up like a 70's disco... that was fucking so dope! Too bad, besides that, the lighting is bleh.

Sound... yeah... highs a little too high. Not particularly unbearable though.

Anything for Zabs. Well... not really, but you get the idea. No one else keeps me going the whole night.

I'm more excited about Nick Warren and Dave Seaman coming. Howells and Armin are here quite frequently and I'm going to see Howells for a 10 hour set in Miami during the wmc anyway. Layo and Bushwacka should be cool though.

Ummm... better late than never. Anyone who wants to relive the last part of the night where he grooved it out, these are the last three tracks he played before the encore, though I don't know what order.

Christian Smith & John Selway - Work It (Deetron Remix)
D-Pulse - July Sunset
Petter - Modern Eternity
