brilliant, thanks.

There are just so many to choose from. I loved here is the house well before the gabriel and dresden remix came out and still love it. Its no good holds a special place for me because of what was going on when it first came out.

Youse are making my 23 year-old ass feel so old, because I've listened to DM since I was a very little girl.

Faves: Halo(violator) Mercy in You-In your Room-Higher Love (faith and devotion) Master and Servant (great reward) Useless (singles) Nothing (for the masses) But not tonight (black celebration)

Wow...such an 80's kid

I change my mind. It's "I Feel You". But my favorite DM song changes often so it's really a moot point.

You should start an 80's thread! We could post links to tunes that brought back memories of Ked's and Flintstone sherbert push pop's. I love the 80's.

Ok. I change my mind.

Duran Duran - Come Undone>VNV Nation - Standing>Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus

Yes ok, but really if you picture it. Close your eyes...

a young lad slowly gyrating in the crowd to "It's No Good" with his eyes closed, headback and arms up the air? All these groups have their elements of queer, persay yes?

Posted by Sand Leaper on Feb-27-2006 17:54:

If queerness is something to discredit groups for, then every single group mentioned in here so far have had their credibility reduced to 0.

Posted by RapidFire on Feb-27-2006 17:56:

sure but Daves voice is the manly type of queer. Simons is the feminine, pansy type.

Posted by Estella on Feb-27-2006 18:01:

^ hahaa

I'm not discrediting. I love queer. And I also love any man that dances to Depeche while wearing New Balance sneakers.

will puma's do?

Posted by Estella on Feb-27-2006 18:18:

Puma's are exempt from a man's man closet. New Balance is a man's man shoe! Actually that might even be pushing it. This is a manly man's shoe

since you went off on a tangent Rapid, what can one expect from a Depeche Mode concert?

Posted by RapidFire on Feb-27-2006 18:31:

doesent get much manlier than these babies;

my wicked shoes aside, Id say watch the Devotional DVD. its got some of their best live preformances. I havent been to a show so I dont know first hand but Ive heard they have one of the best live shows around.

Im gonna do my best to make it to the upcoming T.O one.

From the Ultra album... Love Thieves

The lyrics, the melancholy feeling, the arrangement. Everything is perfect.
