I always get a confirmation email within 24 hours. I would drop them an email and ask if they got your order? They may not have recieved it, they have never let me down & I have been using them for the past year.
yah.. fuck htfr.com, about a year ago i was trying to order "desire" by Tony Price and htfr was the only place that had it (supposedly) and i placed my order but for some reason they never contacted me and the money never was charged to my credit card, after numerous emails they finally told me they didn't have but it took them about a month to get back to me.. poor customer service..
i don't like satelliterecords.com because their shipping is outrageous and their realaudio links don't work..
www.dancerecords.com is a good shop, they offer free shipping if you place an order over $50 and their realaudio links work
www.danceimports.com is also a good place but their selection is limited, great customer service though and they offer free shipping if you order 5 or more records (w/in the us and discounted shipping outside the us)
www.dmcrecords.com has a huge selection but you might want to call or email them first before placing an order because their actual in-store inventory doesn't always match the online inventory but i have ordered from them and received my stuff the next day (but i do only live about an 2hrs away)
what do you guys think about HTFR when merchandise is purchased? all ive read so far is about HTFR is not good with records, does this apply to thier merchandise too?
Well, exactly a month ago I ordered like 50 vinyls from www.web-records.com. Before that I emailed them asking in how much time since the order I can get records (I'm from Israel). Got an answer - 1-2 weeks max.
A month is over, they even don't reply to my emails since the order (though I've got a confirmation mail the same day).
Now i'm kinda confused.. I have no problem to order them from some other place (I will try your recomendations, thanks all 
), but they can charge my credit card in any second (say, in a month,two,three...) when I won't need these records at all!
HTFR crap!!!!!! I dont think so. I have ordered about 50 records from there and a tape deck as well, and headphones. I got most of them next day as well. HTFR isnt crap you all just dont know how to use the wbsite properly.

I have a quick question......chemikal records...they only sell vinyls right?
Because I want to make a purchase and all of the titles i chose they refer to as discs?

Wookieslut have you orderd off dotvinyl.com? I gacve them my credti card info but thay havnt gotten back to me yet. I dont know what the hell there trying to pull.

Ya I found out about there server crash so i re-sent the order, i also sent them an e-mail saying that i wanted an order confirmation within a day otherwise i would go through someone else. Less then 4 hours later they sent me an e-mail saying that all my selections were in stock and they would ship it tommorow....so its all good. Im glad because most the records i orderd were promos that i couldnt find anywhere else.
I had some previous bad experiences with HTFR but I ordered a mk2 1210 from them since they were the only one who would send to greece.
Thank god it came OK And just in 2 days time!
i orderd a record bag a UDG bag like freaken 3 weeks ago and i still haven't received it yet!

hey raptor you get your UDG bag yet? cause i ordered one a week ago too, and i was forced to pay express shipping in order to buy it. havnt got my shit yet =/
everyone should just order from dancegrooves. right now i only order from them. very very fast delivery and the prices are great. massive selection of all types of vinyls too.

no its 2.00 for the first
2.20 for two vinyls and then you add 1.10 for each one
so if you order 5 it will cost you 5.50 for shipping

I'm pretty surprised that no one has posted www.gemm.com here! It's an awesome searchable database of about 12,000 record stores around the world that have their inventories listed. It's complete with cds, vinyl and merchant ratings! I've gotten a lot of my music that I can't find on cdnow or amazon from gemm.com. I'd highly suggest this site!
another piece of hate mail against htfr. i ordered a pair of ortofon nightclubs from them a few months ago. after waiting a week without any word from them, i emailed them asking if they had had a chance to ship out the order...they responded 2 days later asking me to fax them a copy of my drivers license to them so they could bill my credit card properly. i questioned why they wanted to see my drivers license, pointing out that more than 90% of internet orders are processed via credit cards. they responded, again 2 days later, saying that they wanted to be sure that it was me and not somebody frauding my cc. so i cancelled the order and that was that...htfr is shite.

Well i recieved my records from dotvinyl some time ago. All of them arrived in perfect condition......as it stands i give www.dotvinyl.com thumbs up.
Awsome customer service as well.
Have to say, I've never ever considered buying vinyl from HTFR, but they have been good with equipment side of things for me! Got my entire set up from them and it came within a week. I also ordered a UDG bag from them but it was not in stock (they e-mailed me to tell me this), and they then e-mailed me 2 days later when it was back in stock to tell me it had been dispatched, it arrived the next day!
I have used both dotvinyl and chemical before and have had no problem with either, have to say chemical has a better variety of trance tunes and that their customer service is slightly better. And they were nice enough to link to my site from theirs, which brings in quite a lot of traffic!
