haha, yup

And I thought "Don't Give Up" was bad....at least Bryan Adams could actually sing. This is just a sorry excuse for a pop track, even Britney Spear's music sounds better than this tripe (and I hate her music lol). If he was going to make pop music, at least make GOOD pop music. Chicane of old is no longer here, even "Love On The Run" was better than this....WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING??

OMG Britney Spears is like my favorite Vocal Breaks artist ever! How does she do it!

This song would so such much better with no vocals. Please help its scaring me!

Posted by Diginerd on Mar-01-2006 23:13:

I wonder if Chicane will get knickers thrown up at him when he starts playing out again..

Or maybe just PANTS!

Posted by Aquascape on Mar-01-2006 23:15:

Not a bad tune, though not anything we haven't heard 100's of timea already. The lyrics and vocals suck though, not to mention the horrible concept of Tom Jones and trance coming together. It just doesn't work Nick!

Posted by [djousa]anta on Mar-01-2006 23:23:

DOES THIS MEAN I CAN LEAVE MY HOUSE AGAIN?

Posted by johnson3161 on Mar-01-2006 23:48:

wow, i'm absolutely speechless....

BRING BACK THE OLD CHICANE!!!!!!

Lose the god awful vocals.

Posted by Marc Summers on Mar-01-2006 23:55:

I can't hear the sample

Windows media player doesn't work anymore, and it doesn't let me reinstall....

can anyone get a sample that plays with quicktime?

I agree but 'She's a Lady (BT Remix)' wasnt so bad. granted it wasnt all too trancey..

Tom Jones is win. I blame this abismal failure solely on Chicane.

There will most likely be a dub version. Im not basing my opinion on that shit sample though.

agreed. I want to go far away from the maddening crowds again. it was so peaceful there....

Posted by Omega_Blue on Mar-02-2006 09:45:

argh. I read the thread title and i thought.. FUCK YEAH!! i was just thinking about what chicane was up to lately earlier today

and then i heard the vocals.. akin to david hasselhoff or don johnson

lose the vocals, throw in a nice melody line, and i think the tune would be much better

Posted by vince_geneva on Mar-02-2006 14:04:

Chicane is either stupid or he is losing his mind year after year...

Posted by [mart] on Mar-02-2006 19:12:

I can't believe Chicane wishes to tarnish his reputation and good name with this pap. It's not that it's terrible (although the title is inexcusably rancid), but it couldn't be any less special compared to most of his previous works. The least he could have done is used a different alias.

Posted by RTP on Mar-02-2006 23:09:

haha wtf crap

Posted by EriK_V on Mar-03-2006 01:54:

i agree, the track could be better with little to no vocals. i'm feeling the bassline though. oh ya!!

Posted by Cobalt on Mar-03-2006 03:45:

After he says "I don't want to be known as a dance music artist", making it sound so beneath him, he has the gall to put this stuff out?

What a waste of talent.

*pulls out 'far from the maddening crowds' and 'behind the sun' and remembers the good days*

I think Vertigo remixes of Stoned In Love are decent compared to the awful original, especially Vertigo's instrumental is lovely.
