Hopefully I will be able to make it next year.. I plan to be spending a lot more time in Europe as well.

As far as Extrema.. it is the same weekend as Dance Valley now, so I won't be able to attend it.

this is pretty disappointing given that it'll likely dilute the lineups at all the other festivals now including DV itself..

man summers in Europe are juss too busy .. there's practically no such thing as finding a 'free' weekend to hold ur festival

you really think so? I still think all lineups will be strong for DV, Extrema and Loveparade.. the countries are so close together and DV and Extrema are in the same country, I don't see why it would dilute it too much unless it is going to be in an agreement that if you are playing one party you cannot play the other..

well at least I am hoping anyhow. DV has always been a killer lineup and I would hate to go this year and have this be my worst experience there..

I am soooo excited.. I have the apartment booked and the flight already paid for. Now just for the ticket purchase and about 100 days to go by and I will be in my favourite place again

(I have found different apartments on both sites)

great apartments for rent.. super nice places (especially on stayamsterdam.com)but are rather pricy.. but good if you are sharing it with 3 others like myself.

I just booked a plane ticket to Amsterdam with my sister SOOOOOOOOO EXCIIIITEEEDD!!!!! Now we just need DV tickets! Too bad they don't have a lineup posted yet...ot even a glimpse of one!

part of the lineup was suppose to have been posted on the 20th but no sign of it yet.. but I am thinking part of the lineup is going to be released with the ticket sales at 4am our time!


in previous years though the lineup hasn't been posted until sometime in May, although you don't have to worry at all about having a shitty lineup.. there are like 160+ dj's to choose from

What about all that talk that they might change the date yet again???

I hear the promoters of Extrema Outdoors (festival the same weekend) aren't to thrilled with the date change.

Not to mention.....Berlin Love Parade and Sensation White Germany and The Glade Festival over in the U.K. aswell. Then again, there really isn't a strong German presence at Dance Valley but other international clubbers might be persuaded to go the other events.

I actually emailed UDC Frank.. and there will be no more changes of the dates of Dance Valley.. These dates are final for July.

Trust me I wouldn't go and purchase everything for nothing
and no Extrema isn't happy at all.. I can totally see why.. their tickets go on sale April 1st.. so I guess they aren't changing their date either..

Sensation white is actually July 1st and black is July 8th, so it won't interfer with DV at all.. but you are right about Loveparade and Extrema.. ah well, what can you do? I guess UDC won't be able to bitch if this year isn't as successful as other years have been then cuz it will be their own damn faults.

If it were me, I would never go up with this competition. You have a good chance of loosing a lot of money, which talks were already in question if there was going to BE a DV this year or not... so who knows...

That was Sensation White Germany I mentioned. which is on 15/07/06, not the ones in Amsterdam. Which makes it a weekend of 5 really amazing events!!!

Jen, who i haven't met yet, and Vlad, this is going to be awesome! I can't wait!
Regarding lineup....I know it will be good, to me half that party will be the experience of DV, partying with TOTA's on the other side of the world, i've seen videos from this event and the atmosphere looks amazing, nothing like what we have here.

Just one question though, are there any other sites that we can purchase tickets from, besides the ones listed on dancevalley.nl???

I will be in the Valley as well...it seems like there's gonna be a ton o TA's....sweet

Hmmmm.....still debating if it's worth it!!! I just spent this month in the U.K. and it's best to keep an open mind and try something new when I move back there like Sensation in Madrid.

Then again events like this become a tradition almost I'm sure Majikb be can easily explain that to anyone.

Looks like it'll the festivals most popular year.

Is everyone going to be camping on the grounds? And is everyone going for 3 days? I'm picturing this to be a major version of WEMF, but is that accurate? What kind of time slots do the DJ's have? night/day ???

I don't think there is.. just the ones listed!
I have always purchased through www.ticketbox.nl and they have mailed me out a ticket.. no problems at all.. and yes there is a place for english once you actually click for the ticket you want

This should be a good TOTA gathering this year for sure.. it will be nice to meet you too INTRANCE. And yes Vlad.. it almost looks as if there are enough of us going to start a roll call

Frank.. IT IS TRADITION!!! I love DV and am hooked on this party which is why it is always such a fight to get me to do anything else, but like I said, once living over there I won't have that problem anymore. I can go wherever I want.. YAY!
