Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
System of a Down - Vicinity of Obscenity
Green Day - When I come around
Depeche Mode - Dream On (Dave Clarke's Mix)
RHCP - Breaking the Girl
Oasis - Wonderwall

And they rock because I like them...and that's the only thing that counts

MF Doom feat. Mr. Fantastik - Rapp Snitch Knishez

^^^Rocks because the production is tight, one of the sweetest sounding guitar loops I've ever heard.

MF Doom - Kookiez

^^^Rocks because it's the best use of the Sesame Street theme song ever.

And I love hip hop. And this is good hip hop. Recognize, bitches.

King Gheedorah (I'll never ermember how to spell that name) has some cool, yet obscure beats!

You have some good taste!

Check out Lynguistic(s) and Mic Like A Memory, two AMAZING songs! I suggest you all check 'em out.

oh i know - big fan of Jedi Mindtricks =)
Blackalicious topped the chart in/around 99-01 for me as well when he dropped Deception

I'm just kinda weary how "underground" is underground these days? lol I view underground as when Mos Def ripped poetical tracks which now seems like a hiphop flow widely used by most rappers (talib, pharrell, etc) 2000 onward was more of a DMX ala loud and rough rap about how hard they are and how much bling they got. 05 onward seems like the dirty south getting their rep which is ok, just not my thing.

i'm a kid from the streets of nyc, from east new york to shaolin in staten island. these are the lyrics and flows i'm accustom too, not just a "strictly underground scene" or when hiphop was about a message with a flow and not about bragging rights!
