or do you want a bar before hand? cuz if you want i can set up a place where the cost is adventagous for the customer.

Im going to be skipping food but will have a drink in the car b4 I head inside. If anyone is meeting up inside perhaps around midnight let me know. Place is small and Im sure its going to be slammed as it was for Sasha last year. Anyways post if there is anyone who wants to meet up maybe around 12a in the main room at the far end of the bar opposite the DJ .. or some other place.

Nice Treat getting Armin for FOUR HOURS last night!
He really kicked it good all night long.

Anyone know who was shooting video with the cam?

Any why dont they book these guys in bigger venues.. Really

I was shooting several long clips on my digital camera. I'll post them up soon.

I remember that one too, I forgot the name. Also, that kinda tribal-ish, dnb *dunno what to call it* track he played, what was it?

I thought the night was pretty awesome, with the exception of Seven being TINY and one huge drunk guy that almost ruined my night, but he got thrown out I saw Armin last year the week after my 18th at Glow in DC. And this year I actually got to see him ON my birthday (today!) with a few friends. He must just have this effect on the women, but I'd have to say Armin is the best looking DJ out there. SO cute. Anyway...

I thought the energy was pretty good but I swear, the guys here in TX don't dance enough. Ah well. At the end I got to go up and see Armin which was nice.
I met one TA that somehow recognized me I couldn't catch your name, but I heard TA so it was nice to meet you whoever you are. Hope you had fun seein Armin for the first time.

haha I don't know what the name of the track was...but I'm pretty sure it wasn't DNB. He was SEVERELY altering the pitch up...down....up etc. in order to get the desired effect he wanted. He just wanted to do some weird effects at the end to kind of bring it to a close.

I know exactly the part you are talking about though and it was very cool. Did you see him pick the CDJ up and shake it around like it was broke? Haha.

I didn't get in until around 2 am but once I was there Armin definitely was playing a good set! Probably one of the best AVB sets I have heard and much better than the last time he was in Dallas.

The last two songs he dropped were AVB - Burned With Desire (??? Remix) and then he followed up with Markus Schulz - Without You Near (Coldharbour??? Remix). I am not sure which remixes he played since I have't heard them before but they were good! Hope he comes back again to Dallas!

I have to agree with Paula about not enough dancing but I think it goes for both guys and girls. Tho if you think about it. 1 The place is really too small to dance at it had to be over cap. A cop came in the back door to check things out but didnt walk in more than 10 feet and left. 2 I'll bet most were all Rolling and on a more pure form so it just zaps the dance in your legs and lets you enjoy the music.

Really do need to have another place for the top DJs.
Aleast last yr at the Black Forest the floor has to be 30x60.

Hint to promoters.. Book Paul and Armin for a Tag Team at 6hrs
in a big NICE venue. Time to get Dallas on the map.

He is definately a contender for the spot. He may take the spot by popularity at some time...but if he wants to be the true #1 he is going to have to beat PVD. PVD customizes his sets with Ableton, mixing, cutting, remixing, etc. as I'm sure you all know.

All i can say is that I found my Own ride..* eyes ryan *..slumber fell over ya from Max eh?. I knew it. / Sooo..i took of on my voyage..made it in 3hrs ( exactly.) Whats fucked up is that I couldnt find a damn gas station around..needed a cam. Then i kept forgetting shit in my car so i lost my place in line like three times. But ohwell, Armin got on while i was in line..( 5 minutes only ) then i got to see him Live. & can i add that there were some Hot ladys..no doubt i was in trance( while in tranced )...So when i got in..you can bet that i was ..and then an hour later..+ & then Mayor wiggles. The music was Awsome..but As those have stated before, pushing and shoving was like following me around..people with attitudes everywhere. ( the crowed in Austin is much better. )/ I like the little smoking area outside..the fresh air was soooo nice.( + the few girls lying around ) - Armin was definately throwing it down..no doubt about it. What i also didnt like was the attitude the club door guys got towards the end & wanted to kick everyone out with out taking apic..or a quick "thank you" to Armin. - But!..I got my pic with him..so..let me develope them and i'll post some of them up.

btw- later on sunday i got lost in Dallas for the remainder of the day trying to find the damn Galleria..i swear i almost did a full 360 around Dallas, fucking freeways mergin here and there..& then that fuicking toll..to enter & to exit!..WTF!!?. + boring!! on sunday's everything dosent open till noon. its like a country town with tall building.( and may i add again..Austin is much better. ) but anyhow..I made it back in record time. 2hrs & 30 minutes With filling my tank Ones.

Definitely,I agree. Even DC crowds are better. I have to say I was really trying my best to be patient and just shrug off all the idiots shoving around, but I threw an elbow to this one guy. I couldn't help it. This one druken giant wouldn't leave me the fuck alone. Anyone else notice the HUGE guy that started throwing punches and just harassing EVERYONE? One of the bouncers had a rough time throwing him out, but I was wondering what took them so long to get rid of him.

(oh and where are there pics posted normally?)

really.. huge crowd + small venue + glass cups for alcohol = bad time... I know they probably were going for "class" with the glass glasses but really.. in a place that small they must have lost a small fortune from shattered glasses.

always get the VIP for seven.
