Hey guys yeah so here is the low down

tech specs.

sound = 8.5/10
lights/visuals = 5/10
stage setup = 8/10
equipment setup = 8/10
party flow = 9/10

People were actually dancing around, not worshiping the dj. Awesome. Friendly vibe, pretty clean and professional backstage area, good sound levels. Everyone enjoyed things and both headliners played good sets. No disapointments at all! Well Done!

I saw a 10 year old kid smoking and doing glowstick flailing. I think imposing a 16+ age limit NOW is a very good idea, simply to avoid the bad press and complications that could arrise. MY GOD! 10 year olds should not be at raves.

Both djs were very very friendly, jan from 4 strings hung out with us for about 3 hours, talking about his tour, vancouver, producing. He is writing a theme song for an upcoming european festival and is off to china next for a club gig, hopefully he said jokingly, "there will maybe be more white people there than here". On noticing a Darude flyer he said: "I just played 2 gigs with him, and he plays very soft now, 132-134, then i crank it up after him. I think Vancouver maybe will not enjoy him so much if they expect hard music". Sander was interested in promoting his radio show, being broadcast on fm in europe. "I heard vancouver does not like techno and was very afraid, so I played extra fast and things went well for me. Im very lucky right now to have so many tracks being played by so many djs."

At 6am Detn8r and his hard house had drained the batteries of most partiers so my mellower trance couldnt keep the party going past 640. I had no problems or mistakes but since i have little experience in the big booth with the pioneer mixer i was happy with that result. I went home happy.

Ahem, its called Hard & Psy Trance Sean, I played all of two Hard Dance tracks last night.

Hard Trance and Psy Trance. Aqva just can't stand it cuz its too fast for him so he calls it all hard house. Anyway, the party was good. Great sets by Jan and Sander overall. Aqva got twenty records signed as per usual. My set was meh, wasn't happy w/ a lot of the mixing, wasn't drop to drop like it usually is. We've been spoiled recently by True's quad monitor setup and the monitors on Saturday were just blah. Actually the whole setup was blah, Masterplan is definitely cheaping out. The second room was barely lit when we showed up around 9pm and had to ask them to take lights out of the mainroom just to brighten it up a bit so it wouldn't be deemed dangerous in the second room. Still a good show though with a good turnout and an okay vibe so the night was a good one overall
