I don't know if I would say he is at his peak, in terms of getting the most exposure - I haven't noticed much in his gig schedule something that would suggest he is suddenly appealing to a wider audience... he's always experimented in his style a bit and has produced a wide range of releases but it's true his sets overall have noticeably shifted in bpm.
I didn't mean peak strictly in the sense of bookings - I mean peak as in he is really showcasing his huge range of skills more than he ever has before, and it seems people are being receptive to it. I've always been a Beyer fan, but what he's doing now seems ahead of the times. I wasn't as impressed with the more recent hard techno sets I had heard from him, but this stuff is so dark and dirty and twisted, it really fucks with your mind sometimes instead of the usual boom boom boom tss tss etc.
wow, thanks for all of these sets! i'll be dl'ing quite a few.

hoping that some techno comes to the northeast at some point.
for anyone interested there are a few Space Djz promo sets on their site (which is a cool site btw!) available here:
Space Djz.com
Their sets are usually a treat... I find their sound to usually be a bit unique and they definitely have a trademark style! I hope to maybe be able to see them in Canada this year.. it has been about 3 years since they played Aria and that was nutso.

I love Henrik B... actually the techno producing swedes in general....his Illgorhytm label is one of my favourites for sure!
the links for all the actual sets I really wanted are no longer working
oh ya? which ones? (aside from that 6 hour Sven)
That's the crappy thing with these links sometimes but they were all posted relatively recently and in my experience, megaupload and such, it is usually online for at least 30 days.
Anyway... I try to post only working links so I will try to find one for you.
Michel de Hey tribute on now... nice friday beats
new live pa (the real hard biz) by probably my favourite Toronto techno dj (though Greg Gow comes close).
Patrick DSP - March Live PA
he has a nice site too! It's too bad he doesn't get more recognition here in Canada... he regularly tours south america and is about to go on another european tour.
this set looks tasty... I am downloading now!

I was checking out some of the techno parties at the WMC (not very many solid ones this year it seems.. even the Joel Mull Railyard part doesn't excite me much) and I noticed Greg Gow will be playing on the 25th alongside Felipe, Paul Dailey, Marco Bailey, Stryke and some others as part of the Global Bookings party where Greg has recently been added to their roster.
They have a bunch of streaming sets on their site for download.. hoping to see one of Greg's soon!
the following sets are available:
Alex Bau - DJ Mix
Alex Bau - Casecheck p.1
Alex Bau - Casecheck p.2
Alex Bau- Live at Touch p.1
Alex Bau- Live at Touch p.2
DJ Emerson

DJ Felipe - Fine Selections 3

A couple of techno DJs I know are moving there in June... they are just missing Sonar though unfortunately. I hope to go visit sometime.. that country has it goin on for tekno!
I'm a bit surprised there doesn't seem to be more techno djs/producers emerging from there over the years.. aside from certain names like Varela, Mulero I can't think of too many others all things considered.

I know of a few solid female techno djs from there like Pelacha.. she has the same agent as Mull & Rachmad and will be playing Awakenings next month as part of the Steve Rachmas & friends lineup... such a sick lineup..Joel Mull, Dave Clarke, The Advent.. I am forgetting one or two.. hehe
DJ Pelacha
