It was all a dream
I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha
You never thought that hip hop would take it this far
Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Born filla, the opposite of a winner
Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner
Peace to Ron G, Brucey B, Kid Capri
Funkmaster Flex, Lovebug Starsky
I'm blowin' up like you thought I would
Call the crib, same number same hood
It's all good
Uh, and if you don't know, now you know, nigga!

It's all about In-Q, babies. At this moment, he is my favorite rapper. If anyone wants to hear some, let me know.
i was born a bastard, i'm a master of my pain.
so after the disaster, i went dancing in the rain.
everybody came from far and wide to see the little boy.
the little miracle who filled t world with his joy.
he used to walk upon the water with a smile.
his eyes sung as the sun shined and set a style.
but after a while, even the sunshine faded.
the pressure was too much, the boy couldn't take it.
he wandered in the wilderness trying to find a cure.
drinking his teardrops and sitting by the shores.
climbing the trees and making shapes out of clouds.
anything the little boy could do to make her proud.
but as the time passed, he moved distant and aloof.
couldn't tell them nothing even if it was the truth.
he started hanging out on the block he belonged.
a family when everything else was going wrong.
the boy had a gift, but, shit, he coulnd't use it.
he was too scared he'd lose it... or abuse it.
listening to music, staring at the moon,
getting high enough to watch his own soul leave the room.
and that was the mistake til it turned into habit.
he had to have it, he was a certified addict.
stealing from his friends, just to get another fix.
his pain was insane, but he hid it in the mix.
so years went by and the skies turned black.
his tears turned dry and his eyes rolled back.
his friends moved on, he was left all alone.
imagine how you'd feel if you never knew a home.
the little boy was not a little boy anymore.
his bullshit excuses didn't work anymore.
his pride was useless and his hurt was ignored.
it was either die or go spiritually explore.
he trekked the terrain through a treacherous storm.
his heart was so froze he thought it'd never get warm.
but as time passed, he grew up and then aware.
he couldn't tell them nothing if the truth wasn't there.
he started working out and started eating right.
quit smoking cigarettes, quit hanging out all night.
his friends noticed change and they all came back.
his pain was contained and his name was intact.
his smile was the same, it was sent from above.
his self-hate only brought him closer to love.
his broken heart mended, so he sat upon the throne.
finally, the little boy had a place called home.
Two other dope groups are Cyne and Slum Village. Each group has 2 MCs, and both are great. But Cise Starr of Cyne and Elzhi of Slum Village are the two standouts. So dope. I'd actually consider Elzhi the best rapper out today.
